Clinical Study On The Effect Of Yunpi Huazhuo Acupuncture Therapy On Treatment Of Parkinson’s Disease With Mild Cognitive Impairment Of Phlegm Obstructing Orifices Pattern

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Yunpi Huazhuo acupuncture therapy combined with taking donepezil hydrochloride in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease with mild cognitive impairment(PD-MCI)of phlegm obstructing orifices pattern,and to provide reference for TCM treatment of PD-MCI of phlegm obstructing orifices pattern.The Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA),Unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale-Ⅲ(UPDRS-Ⅲ)and TCM syndrome score scale were used as therapeutic indexes.Methods: 56 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table method.Both groups were treated with routine anti-Parkinson’s disease drugs,the control group was treated with donepezil hydrochloride,and the treatment group was treated with Yunpi Huazhuo acupuncture on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment in both groups was 8 weeks.The MoCA,UPDRS-Ⅲ and TCM syndrome score scale were used before and after the treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups in cognitive function,motor function,and TCM syndrome improvement.The SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)After 8 weeks,the total scores of MOCA in the two groups were higher than those at baseline,while the UPDRS-Ⅲ scores and TCM syndrome scores were lower than those at baseline,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,except for the directional score of the treatment group and the delayed recall score and directional score of the control group were of no significant difference compared with before treatment(P>0.05),the other sub-item scores of the MOCA in the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)In terms of the total score of MOCA and TCM syndrome score after treatment,the treatment group had better efficacy than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference in UPDRS-Ⅲ score between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).For the sub-item scores of the MOCA after treatment,the differences between the two groups in terms of visual space and executive ability scores,attention scores and delayed recall scores were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The total effective rate was 88.46% in the treatment group and 70.37% in the control group,there was significant difference in the efficacy of TCM syndrome between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: Both Yunpi Huazhuo acupuncture therapy combined with taking donepezil hydrochloride and taking donepezil hydrochloride therapy can improve the overall cognitive function,motor function and TCM syndroms of PD-MCI patients of phlegm obstructing orifices pattern.Compared with the latter,the former can significantly improve the efficacy of cognitive function such as visual space and executive ability attention and delayed recall,at the same time,it has more advantages in the improvement of TCM syndromes and the efficacy of TCM syndromes,which is worthy of further promotion in clinic.
