| Object: To observe the clinical effects of tuina and baduan jin exercise in treatments of functional constipation,and evaluate whether baduan jin exercise can improve and consolidate the therapeutic effect of Tuina on constipation with deficiency of spleen qi,investigate whether it’s of clinical advantage and offer new treatment thoughts for clinical use.Method: Based on TCM and western medical diagnosis standards,inclusion standards and exclusion standards,the 60 patients who met the criteria were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group Treatment group uses tuina and baduan jin exercise for treatments while control group uses tuina.With two weeks as a course of treatment,after two treatments,subjects in two groups are evaluated for efficacy by calculating the TCM symptom score、Cleveland Clinic Score(CCS)and Patient-Assessment of Constipation Quality Of Life(PAC-QOL).Result: Compared the two groups’ efficacy,after two courses of treatment.Both the treatment group and the control group showed good effect on the improvement of clinical symptoms.In terms of the improvement of TCM symptoms and quality of life,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.The effective rates of the two groups were 96.7% and 93.3% respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).During the follow-up process,the long-term efficacy of the observation group was also significant due to the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Tuina has a significant effect on functional constipation(deficiency of spleen qi).Tuina combined with Baduan jin exercises can improve the TCM symptoms,quality of life of patients and the long-term efficacy.It is more effective in consolidating the efficacy of Tuina and preventing recurrence.It.Baduan jin exercise is an effective complementary therapy for Tuina to treat functional constipation(deficiency of spleen qi).It deserves to be promoted clinically because of its concise action and small requirements on the venue. |
