| Objective: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Chaihu Shugan powder combined with mesalazine sustained release granules in the treatment of ulcerative colitis of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type.Methods: A total of 60 patients with ulcerative colitis of liver depression and spleen deficiency diagnosed in Qianfo Mountain hospital from January 1,2019 to December 31,2020 were included.They were randomly divided into observation group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The observation group was treated with modified Chaihu Shugan powder combined with mesalazine sustained-release granules,while the control group was treated with mesalazine sustained-release granules only.The modified Mayo score,TCM syndrome score and fecal calprotectin were detected before and after treatment in the two groups.The quality of life of patients with ulcerative colitis was evaluated by quality of life scale.Result: After treatment,the modified Mayo score,TCM syndrome score and fecal calprotectin level of the two groups were decreased,and the modified Mayo score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group The score,TCM symptom score and fecal calprotectin level of the two groups were lower than those of the control group,and the results were statistically significant(P < 0.05);the quality of life scale score of patients with ulcerative colitis in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the results were statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Chaihu Shugan powder combined with mesalazine sustained release granules can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with ulcerative colitis of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type,promote mucosal healing,reduce intestinal inflammatory reaction,improve the quality of life of patients,and benefit patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion. |
