Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture on the acupuncture points of the abdomen and stomach for the treatment of insomnia with deficiency of the heart and spleen,and evaluate the effectiveness,superiority and safety of acupuncture on the treatment of insomnia with deficiency of the heart and spleen,so as to provide different methods and ideas for the clinical treatment of insomnia,so as to serve the clinic.Methods:Seventy-two subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group in a 1:1 ratio,with 36 cases in each group.The treatment group was mainly treated with acupuncturing stomach meridian of lower abdomen and its acupoints,and acupoints were added and subtracted according to the syndrome.The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture.Two groups of subjects were treated: once a day,5 days for a course of treatment,each course interval was 2 days,a total of 4 courses.At two time points before and after treatment,PSQI scores and TCM syndrome scale scores of the two groups of subjects were observed and recorded to determine and evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results:A total of 68 cases were completed,including 34 cases in the treatment group and34 cases in the control group.1.Baseline analysis of general data(gender,age,course of disease,PSQI score and TCM syndrome score)between the two groups showed no statistical difference and was comparable(P > 0.05).2.PSQI score: intra-group comparison: after treatment,both groups were lower than before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups:The total score of PSQI and the single score of sleep quality,sleep time,sleep time and sleep efficiency in the treatment group were better than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.TCM syndrome score: intra-group comparison: after treatment,the total score of syndrome,restless sleep,palpitations,forgetfulness,fatigue,dizziness and vertigo,and pale complexion in the two groups were lower than before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Comparison between groups: The total score of syndrome,restless sleep,palpitation,fatigue and pale complexion in the treatment group were better than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).4.According to the subtraction rate of PSQI,the total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 94.12% and 82.35%,respectively.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).5.Comparison of safety and compliance between the two groups showed,and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncturing lower abdomen and stomach meridians as the main therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy for the heart and spleen deficiency type of insomnia clinical effect is certain.However,in terms of therapeutic effect,the treatment of acupuncture based on lower abdominal and stomach meridians was significantly better than conventional acupuncture,and there was no obvious adverse reaction in the whole course of treatment.Therefore,it is an effective and safe green therapy to treat insomnia caused by deficiency of heart and spleen by acupuncture in lower abdomen and stomach meridian points.
