Objective: To investigate relationship between the prognosis risk factors with progression free survival(PFS)of stage Ⅲc epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods: Collect clinical datas of 73 cases of stage Ⅲc epithelial ovarian cancer in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in The tumor hospital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from January 2009 to December 2012,who had get a tumor progression(un-control, recurrence or death) after a complete clinical remission from the initial treatment. The clinical datas of prognostic risk factors of ovarian cancer and progression free survival time to be recorded. Use Life Tables process to calculate the annual survival rate, draw the survival curve; The Kaplan-Meier process to analyse the relationship of different levels prognostic factors with the progression free survival time, the single factor analysis of significant variables were analyzed by Cox Regression regression analysis. Results: Of the 73 patients, the median PFS was 21 months, 95%confidence interval 16.81 to 25.19 months, the 1 year, 2 year and 3 yearcumulative progression free survival rates were 89%、46%、31%. Single factor analysis showed that between the residual tumor diameter ≤1cm and > 1cm group, the median PFS was 29.00, 14.50 months, the 1 year and 2 year cumulative rate of progression free survival was 100%、63% and 70%、vs 21%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Mucinous adenocarcinoma had a median PFS was 14 months, 1 years, 2 years cumulative progression free survival rates of 80% and 11%, was significantly lower than that of serous adenocarcinoma(median PFS 23.00 months, the 1 year and 2 year cumulative rate of progression free survival was 91%,55%) of patients, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). While it had no significant difference in age,Pathological differentiation, Lymph node dissection, neoadjuvant chemotherapy,CA125 level before treatment et al. Multivariate COX regression analysis showed that postoperative residual tumor size was independent prognostic factors of progression free survival time for patients of stage Ⅲc epithelial ovarian cancer(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Residual tumor size were independent factors for PFS in patients with stage Ⅲc epithelial ovarian cancer; Pathological low differentiation, mucus gland cancer, lymph node dissection may has certain influence on stage III C epithelial ovarian cancer progression free survival, but may not be the determining factor; Age, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, CA125 level before treatment may had no significant effect on progression free survival time of stage III C epithelial ovarian cancer.
