Purpose:The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of nutrition education, diet record and their combination on healthy diet index of colorectal cancer patients, and to provide theoretical basis for the design and implementation of nutrition education program and diet management of colorectal cancer patients in the future.Method:In this study,100 colorectal cancer patients admitted to the Oncology Department of the first Hospital of Jilin University from January 2020 to December 2020 were randomly assigned to diet record combined with nutrition education group(DE group),diet record group(group D),nutrition education group(group E)and control group(group C).The results of diet in group C were recorded by photography, and the quality of diet was evaluated and given nutritional advice by specialist nurses of nutrition support.Group D used diet diary for 3 days on the basis of group C,group E received nutrition education on the basis of group C,and patients in group DE received nutrition education while using diet diary for 3 days. The nutritional status and diet of the patients were evaluated before each chemotherapy cycle, and the quality of life of the patients was investigated at the time of entering the group and at the end of the fifth cycle intervention.Result:1.Before intervention.(1)General data: there were no significant differences in socio-demographic data,disease-related data, height, weight,BMI,body composition analysis and laboratory results among the four groups.(2)Outcome index: there was no significant difference in AHEI-201,PG-SGA and QLQ-C30 among the four groups.2.After intervention.(1)AHEI-2010 scores: after intervention,AHEI-2010 scores were significantly improved in all groups except group C,and there were differences in AHEI-2010 dietary index among the four groups from T1 to T1(P < 0.001),and there was a synergistic effect with different intervention methods(P < 0.001).The AHEI-2010 scores of group D,group E and group DE all increased with time, and the improvement effect of group DE was the most obvious.(2)PG-SGA score: compared with T0,the score of T4 PG-SGA in the four groups decreased significantly(P < 0.05).There were significant differences in PG-SGA scores among the four groups in different intervention stages(P < 0.001),and there was no synergistic effect between time and different intervention methods(P > 0.05).The PGSGA scores of the four groups increased in different degrees in T1,decreased in T2,and gradually stabilized in T3 and T4,and continued to decrease in T4 in DE group, but there was no significant difference.(3)QLQ-C30: There was no significant difference in the score of quality of life among and within the four groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.Nutrition education can effectively improve the diet quality of patients with colorectal cancer.2.Dietary recording can effectively improve the dietary quality of patients with colorectal cancer.3.Nutrition education combined with diet recording can further enhance the improvement of dietary quality in patients with colorectal cancer.
