Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum levels of adiponectin(APN),angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ),adiponectin gene(APM1)rs2241766,rs1501299,angiotensin Ⅱtype I receptor(AT1R)gene rs5182,rs5186 polymorphisms with essential hypertension in Xinjiang Uygur populations.Method: A total of 324 blood samples were collected from Xinjiang Uyghur populations,including 221 cases with essential hypertension group(EH group)and 103 normal controls(control group).Serum APN and Ang Ⅱ levels were detected by ELISA,and SNPs polymorphisms of APM1 and AT1 R genes were detected bycompetitive allele specific PCR(KASP).Then the nomogram model is established and verified by calibration curve.Result: Compared with the control group,the APN level was significantly reduced while the Ang Ⅱ level was significantly increased in EH group(both P<0.01).The allele frequency and genotype distribution of AT1 R rs5186 were significantly different between the two groups(both P<0.01).The allele frequency and genotype distribution of APM1 rs1501299,rs2241766,and AT1 R rs5182 were not statistically different in the two groups.In the nomogram prediction model,when 50%recurrence rate was used as the classification limit,the corresponding point was 138.Patients with a score greater than 138 were predicted to have hypertension,while patients with a score less than or equal to 138 were not.The calibration curve showed that the prediction of nomogram was in good agreement with the actual observation of hypertension group and control group.Conclusion: APN may be a protective factor for essential hypertension,and Ang Ⅱis an independent risk factor.The AT1 R gene rs5186 AA genotype may be related to the incidence of essential hypertension in Uyghurs,and the A allele may be a potential risk factor.APM1 rs1501299,rs2241766 and AT1 R gene rs5182 polymorphisms may be not associated with essential hypertension in Uyghurs.And the prediction model has a high prediction accuracy for the occurrence of EH in Uygur population.To provide a theoretical basis for the early prevention,diagnosis and treatment of EH.
