Evaluation Of Yi Shen Tong Luo Prescription Combined With Minimally Invasive Surgery In The Treatment Infertility Of Varicocele Asthenospermia

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Yi Shen Tong Luo prescription combined with minimally surgery in the treatment of asthenospermia caused by varicocele.Methods: A total of 120 patients were included in this study.All the outpatients and inpatients who visited the department of andrology of the first affiliated hospital of zhengzhou university and the department of reproductive andrology of henan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine received their first visit from June 2017 to November2018.The eligible patients were divided into three groups: treatment group,control group 1 and control group 2,with 40 cases in each group.Among them,40 cases in the treatment group were treated with Yi Shen Tong Luo prescription combined with minimally invasive surgery(low ligation of spermatic vein under the external inguinal ring mouth microscope),the control group 1 was treated with Yi Shen Tong Luo prescription,and the control group 2 was treated with minimally invasive surgery(the operation method was the same as the treatment group).All the three groups took 12 weeks as a course of treatment.During and after the course of treatment,the pregnancy status of the patient’s spouse was inquired,at the same time,the observation indicators and safety indicators were recorded,and then the three groups of relevant data were statistically analyzed to evaluate the efficacy and safety.Results:Of all the observed cases in this study,1 case fell off in the treatment group,2 cases in the control group 1,and 1 case in the control group 2,with a total of 4 cases falling off.No adverse reactions were found during the study.Of the 39 cases in the treatment group,17 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 89.74%.Among the38 cases in control group 1,8 cases were cured,7 cases were obviously effective,9cases were effective,and 14 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was63.16%.Among the 39 cases in the control group 2,8 cases were cured,6 cases were obviously effective,11 cases were effective,and 14 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 64.10%.Chi-square test(P< 0.05)was used for the total effective rate of the three groups,and the treatment group was superior to the control group 1and control group 2.The rank-sum test was used for clinical efficacy,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).Compared with control group 1 and control group 2,the effect of treatment group was better than that of control group 1and control group 2.The three groups showed significant efficacy(P< 0.05)in improving the DNA integrity of sperm,sperm function and patients’ symptoms,as well as in improving the forward moving sperm,linear movement speed and normal morphology of sperm.Compared between the groups,the treatment group was superior to the control group 1 and the control group 2(P< 0.05).No adverse reactions of Yi Shen Tong Luo prescription combined with minimally invasive surgery were found during the observation,indicating that this therapy has a good safety.Conclusion : The combination of Yi Shen Tong Luo prescription and minimally invasive surgery have prominent advantages in improving sperm quality and sperm function,especially in improving forward moving sperm,linear movement speed and normal form sperm,as well as in improving sperm DNA integrity,sperm function and clinical symptoms of patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
