Study On Acupuncture Therapy Of Dredging Governor Vessel And Culticating Qi In Poststroke Motor Aphasia Patients

ObjectiveTo study the efficacy of acupuncture therapy of Dredging Governor Vessel and Culticating Qi in poststroke Broca aphasia patients,in order to evaluate the safest and best acupuncture therapy for them.Methods70 participants who suffered from motor aphasia after stroke were randomly divided into two groups by using SAS statistical software.One is the treatment group,using Dredging Governor Vessel and Culticating Qi Therapy as the main acupoints.The other group is the control group,using the routine acupoints.Before the treatment and after the four-weeks treating,Simply Aphasia Battery of Chinese(ABC)and Boston Diagnostic Examinatin(BDAE)Level were used to evaluate the speech function.The assessment and statistic analyse will be conducted by the same evaluator who do not know the participants’s group.Results1.Before the treatment,the gender,age,diagnosis,clinical stages,fundation treatment,speech function and level are not different in statistica significant(P>0.05),indicating that there is comparability between the two groups.2.After the treatment,the scores and levels of the two groups were all better than the before,and possessing the statictical significant(P<0.05),which means the Dredging Governor Vessel and Culticating Qi threapy and the routine acupuncture prescription can all improve the patients’ speech function.3.After the treatment,there was the statistic difference between the ABC total scores and the BDAE levels of the two groups(P<0.05).Total effective rate of the treatment group was 91%,and the comtrol group was 80%.These datum mean that the Dredging Governor Vessel and Culticating Qi threapy is more efficient than the routine acupunture prescription.ConclutionAcupuncture can improve the speech funtion of the poststroke motor aphasia patients.The Dredging Governor Vessel and Culticating Qi threapy have the better overall response than the routine acupuncture treatment.
