Objective: To detect the expression of programmed death receptor 1(PD-1)/programmed death receptor ligand 1(PD-L1)in the left and right right semicolon carcinoma. To conduct a preliminary discussion on its relationship with the occurrence and progression of left and right right semicolon carcinoma, and whether it is relevant to clinical tumor pathology information, further to provide evidence for the difference in tumor biological behavior between left and right right semicolon carcinoma. Methods: Through the collection of 59 cases of left sided colon cancer(LSCC)and right sided colon cancer(RSCC)which confirmed by histopathology after menstrual surgery from August 2017 to November 2019 in The People’s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Using Immunohistochemical staining SP method was used to detect the expression of PD-1/PD-L1 in left and right sided colon cancer.Statistical analysis was carried out to determine whether there was a difference and whether it was related to the pathological information and organizational behavior of left and right side colon cancer tumors.Relevant survival curves were made to evaluate the impact of PD-1/PD-L1 on the survival and prognosis of patients. Results: 1.The positive expression rate of PD-1/PD-L1 in RSCC was higher than that in LSCC,and the difference was statistically significant.2.The expression of PD-1 / PD-L1 is closely related to clinical TNM stage, presence or absence of lymph node metastasis, tumor infiltration level, and tumor growth morphology, but has nothing to do with age, gender, and tumor differentiation.3.In the comparison of left and right semicolon carcinoma in stage II and stage III,the expression difference of pd-1 / pd-l1 is significant.4.Among patients with stage II,and III left and right sided colon cancer, the survival time of patients with positive expression of PD-1 and PD-L1 is lower than that patients with negative expression of PD-1 and PD-L1;the survival of PD-1 positive patients. There was no significant difference between the time and survival time of PD-L1 positive patients.Conclusion:1.The positive expression of PD-1 / PD-L1 in RSCC is higher than that of LSCC;this difference may be the reason for the difference in clinical manifestations, prognosis and biological behavior of RSCC and LSCC.2.The expression of PD-1 / PD-L1 is related to the clinical TNM stage, the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis, the level of tumor infiltration, and the tumor growth morphology. As the malignancy of the tumor increases, the expression may be more obvious.3.In the treatment of colon cancer patients,PD-1/PD-L1 immunotargeted drug therapy may have further development.4.The expression of PD-1 / PD-L1 is correlated with the prognosis of colon cancer, and its high expression may indicate a poor prognosis of colon cancer. |
