| Objective:To study the relationship between Omentin and Coronary artery disease(CAD),Coronary artery stenosis and its risk factors.Method:The patients were divided into 272 CAD group and 145 control group,among 78 patients with CAD,there were 62 cases of stable angina pectoris,(SAP group)and 210 cases of acute coronary syndrome(ACS group).Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to determine serum Omentin levels.high sensitive reactive protein(hs-CRP),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),Creatinine(Cr),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were tested.All the subjects were invited fora coronary angiography,using the sum of the Syntax scores toassess the severity of coronary artery stenosis.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender,age,body mass index and creatinine between the CAD group and the control group(P>,0.05).Comparing the prevalence of hypertension and diabetes,the CAD group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.001).Compared with hs-crp and HbA1C,the CAD group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the level of Omentin was significantly lower in the CAD group(P<0.001).2.There was no significant difference between the SAP and ACS groups in gender,age,smoking,body mass index,creatinine,blood lipid and glycosylated hemoglobin between the two groups(P>,0.05).The prevalence of diabetes in the ACS group was significantly higher than that in the SAP group(P<0.01).Compared with the SAP group,the level of Omentin in the ACS group decreased significantly(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the minimum diameter and the reference vessel diameter between the SAP and ACS groups(P>,0.05).The lesion length and Syntax score were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.01).4.Multi variate Logistic analysis results show that:Diabetes(OR,7.45;95%CI,1.79-40.12;P<0.01);High blood pressure(OR,9.88;95%CI,3.14-64.95;P<0.01);High sensitivity c-reactive protein(OR,4.23;95%CI,2.95-7.65;P<0.01);High-density lipoprotein cholesterol(OR,0.85;95%CI,0.82-0.98;P<0.05);Omentin(OR,1.72;95%CI,1.14-1.59;P<0.01)level was significantly correlated with CAD.Conclusions:Omentin may be related to the incidence of coronary artery disease.Its serum level can reflect the degree of coronary artery stenosis in CAD patients,and it can be used as a new biological marker for diagnosis,treatment and prognosis. |
