| Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of perceived vulnerability and parental stress of parents of children with congenital heart dis-ease,to clarify the relationship between perceived vulnerability and parental stre-ss,and to analyze the influencing factors of parental stress in children with co-ngenital heart disease.Provide empirical evidence for nurturing pressure.Method:In this study,the convenience sampling method was used to select the parents of 225 children with congenital heart disease in the heart center of a tertiary hospital in Shandong Province.The questionnaire survey was used to investigate the perceived vulnerability and parental pressure of the parents.The data was analyzed using SPSS 17.0 statistical software package.Descriptive statistical analysis was used for the general demographic characteristics of children with congenital heart disease and their parents;mean and standard deviation analysis were applied to parents ’perceived vulnerability and parental stress levels;single factor analysis of study variables was performed by t test or ANOVA;Pearson correlation analysis was used for the relationship with parenting pressure;multiple stepwise regression analysis was used for the influencing factors of parenting pressure.Result:(1)The perceived vulnerability score of parents of children with congenital heart disease is(11.45 ±6.53),which is at a high level.The perceived vulnerability scores are in the types of congenital heart disease,relationship with children,marital status,household registration type,parental education,work status,and family income 1.The difference in factors such as medical professional background,medical payment method,etc.is statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The parental stress score of children with congenital heart disease is(94.13 ±31.90),which is at a relatively high level.The parental stress score is based on the child ’s age,ethnicity,relationship with the child,marital status,household registration type,parental education,work status,Differences in factors such as family income,whether they have a medical background,and payment methods for medical expenses were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The perceived vulnerability of parents of children with congenital heart disease was positively correlated with the level of parental stress(r=0.788,P<0.01).(4)Multiple stepwise regression analysis shows that the four factors of perceived vulnerability,family income,household registration type,and gender of parents can jointly explain 66.2%of the variation in parental stress scores.Conclusion:Parenting pressure of parents of children with congenital heart disease is positively correlated with perceived vulnerability.The majority of medical staff should not only pay attention to the physical and mental health and postoperative recovery of children with congenital heart disease,but also pay attention to the psychological pressure and mental burden that parents suffer in the process of raising children with congenital heart disease.Through parental consultation and health education,parents are guided to adjust Mentality,active cooperation with treatment and rehabilitation,correct handling of various problems felt in the process of nurturing children,nursing children,improving parents’ social support system,and achieving the purpose of promoting the health of children and parents. |
