Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Kidney Deficiency Thin Endometrium With Tonifying Kidney Essence Herbs And Intracavitary Physiotherapy As Well As Fomoston

Objective:By observing the clinical effects of treating kidney deficiency thin endometrium with tonifying kidney essence herbs and intracavitary physiotherapy as well as Fomoston,investigating the mechanism of this therapy to thin endometrium preliminarily in order to increase the menstrual quantity and the clinical pregnancy rate,and reducing kidney deficiency syndromes.Methods:60 patients were chosen in this research who conformed to diagnostic and inclusive criteria of TCM and western medicine.The patients were randomly allocated to2 groups at 1:1 named experimental group and control group respectively.The experimental group were treated with tonifying kidney essence herbs self-made Promoting Endometrium prescription,intracavitary physiotherapy and Femoston（1/10）,while the control group were treated with Femoston（1/10）only.Both groups have been under the treatment for 3 cycles.Observe the thickness and the type of endometrium,the pulsatility index（PI）and the resistant index（RI）of the uterus spiral artery,the endocrine indexes（FSH,LH and E₂）,the change of menstrual quantity,the pregnancy condition and the improvement of TCM syndromes.Result:（1）After treatment,the endometrial thickness of both two groups increased,and there were significant differences comparing with before treatment（P<0.01）.But there were no significant differences between 2groups after treatment（P>0.05）.（2）There were no significant differences between 2 groups in the type of endometrium after treatment（P>0.05）.The endometrial type in experimental group improved obviously,and there were significant differences comparing with before（P<0.05）while there were no significant differences in control group（P>0.05）.（3）The pulsatility index（PI）and the resistant index（RI）of the uterus spiral artery in experimental group declined evidently after treatment and there were significant differences in this group comparing with before（P<0.05）.But there were no significant differences in those 2 indexes in control group between before and after treatment（P>0.05）.There were significant differences between 2 groups after treatment in those 2 indexes（P<0.05）.（4）There were no significant differences in FSH and LH in both 2 groups between before and after treatment（P>0.05）,but the level of E₂increased in 2 groups after treatment and there were significant differences comparing with before（P<0.01）.There were no significant differences between 2 groups in FSH and LH after treatment（P>0.05）.The level of E₂in experimental group increased more clearly after treatment and there were significant differences between 2 groups（P<0.05）.（5）After treatment,there were no significant differences in menstrual quantity between 2 groups（P>0.05）.But the menstrual quantity increased in both groups after treatment,which suggested there were significant differences comparing with before treatment（P<0.01）.（6）After treatment and during the follow-up period,there were 11patients pregnant in experimental group whose pregnancy rate is 50%,while there were 4 patients pregnant in control group whose pregnancy rate is 19%.The pregnancy rate of experimental group was obviously higher than that of control group,which indicated there were significant differences in pregnancy condition between 2 groups（P<0.05）.（7）After treatment,the TCM syndrome of experimental group was improved more clearly comparing with control group,and there were significant differences between two groups（P<0.01）.Conclusions:In the matter of thin endometrium of kidney deficiency type,treating that with tonifying kidney essence herbs self-made Promoting Endometrium prescription and intracavitary physiotherapy based on hormone treatment（1/10 Fomoston）was superior to hormone treatment（1/10 Fomoston）only in improving endometrium condition especially in decreasing uterus spiral artery flow index（PI and RI）,at the mean time,the level of E₂improved evidently under the treatment so that the endometrial thickness and type improved,and the receptivity increased further as well as the pregnancy rate.The treatment of TCM and western medicine combined with intracavitary physiotherapy could improve menstrual condition and TCM clinical symptoms of thin endometrium patients in a better way than that of hormone treatment only（1/10 Fomoston）,and it could improve clinical effective percentage.
