Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Bronchiolitis Of Phlegm-dampness Obstructing Lung Type By Point Application Of Wenfei Huatan Prescription

Objective: To study the clinical efficacy and safety of point application of Wenfei Huatan Decoction in the treatment of infantile phlegm-dampness obstruction bronchiolitis.Methods: Sixty hospitalized children with bronchiolitis of phlegm-dampness obstruction type were randomly divided into two groups.30 cases in the treatment group were treated with point application of Wenfei Huatan Formula and 30 cases in the control group were treated with ambroxol intravenous drip.Both groups were treated with symptomatic treatment of Western medicine.To observe the improvement of symptoms,signs and syndrome scores before and after treatment in the two groups,and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of point application of Wenfei Huatan Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of bronchiolitis.Results: In the clinical efficacy of Western medicine,the cure rate of the treatment group was 63.3%,the total effective rate was 96.7%,the cure rate of the control group was 60.0%,the total effective rate was 93.3%,the cure rate of the treatment group was 60.0%,the total effective rate was 96.7%,and the cure rate of the control group was 36.6%,the total effective rate was 90.0%.There was significant difference in the improvement of symptoms between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05).It showed that the two methods of point application of Wenfei Huatan Decoction combined withwestern medicine adjuvant therapy and simple western medicine treatment could significantly improve the symptoms of bronchiolitis.After treatment,the two groups were compared in the main symptoms scores such as cough,phlegm ringing in larynx and the total scores of syndromes.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.The difference was statistically significant in hospitalization time and clinical efficacy between the two groups(P < 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.It showed that the acupoint application of Wenfei Huatan Decoction combined with western medicine can effectively shorten the course of treatment and alleviate the illness.Conclusions : The clinical effect of Acupoint Application of Wenfei Huatan Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of bronchiolitis is worthy of affirmation.It can effectively improve the symptoms and signs related to bronchiolitis.It has a remarkable effect in relieving cough,resolving phlegm and eliminating lung rales.It is safe and reliable with no obvious adverse reactions.It is worthy of further clinical study.
