| Objective:To observe the short-term clinical effect of high tibial osteotomy for varus knee osteoarthritis based on the theory of paying equal attention to sinew and bone by comparing the two treatment methods. Methods:Retrospective analysis of hospitalized patients undergoing varus knee osteoarthritis treatment in Department of orthopedics,Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital from 2016 October to 2018 January, and following up in 30 patients as the research object.According to the different methods of treatment, they were divided into two groups:The group B received the treatment of arthroscopic knee debridement, medial opening high tibial osteotomy and postoperative rehabilitation,The group A received the conventional treatment combined with herbal fumigation and massage physiotherapy based on the theory of paying equal attention to sinew and bone. The VAS score,WOMAC score of two groups were re-corded at 3,6 months follow-up to assess and compare the short-term clinical efficacy of the two treatment methods. Results:The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was 93.3%,higher than66.7%of the control group and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The WOMAC score and VAS score of 2 groups were improved compared with preoperative score(P<0.01).The degree of improvement of the treatment group was significantly different(P<0.05)compared with the control group. Conclusion:The high tibial osteotomy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis based on the theory of paying equal attention to sinew and bone can better alleviate the symptoms of patients and the short-term clinical efficacy is more obvious,long-term efficacy comparison needs further follow-up observation and research. |
