| Objective To carry out relaxation training combined with acupoint massage on patients of breast cancer during the stage of perioperation,to observe and analyze the effects on the anxiety in patients,to expand the intervention methods targeting anxiety in patients of breast cancer during the stage of perioperation by clinical intervention,to formulate initial formal nursing interference mold, and to provide support to prevent and relieve the anxiety in patients and promoting rehabilitation of patients. Methods Based on literature review, clinical investigation, expert consultations, and nursing experience,an intervention program of relaxation training combined with acupoint massage was formulated for anxiety patients with breast cancer during the perioperative stage.Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria,160 patients with breast cancer during the stage of operation were chosen through convenient sampling and randomly divided into control group, intervention group 1(relaxation training group),intervention group 2(acupoint massage group)and intervention group 3(relaxation training combined with acupoint massage group). Each group had 40 patients. The patients in the control group received routine care of breast cancer during the perioperative period;while the patients in the intervention group 1 received relaxation training, twice a day(one in the morning and one in the afternoon),each time lasted for 30 minutes;the patients in the intervention group 2 received acupoint massage, twice a day(one in the morning and one in the afternoon),each time lasted for 30 minutes;the intervention group 3 received relaxation training combined with acupoint massage, once a day, each time lasted for 60 minutes. The intervention time of the four groups started from two days before operation to ten days after operation. The Hamiltion Anxiety Scale,Athens Insomnia Scale and Symptom Checklist 90 were used to evaluate the anxiety state and sleep state for patients of four groups two days before operation, five days after operation and ten days after operation.SPSS 17.0 was applied to establish the database. The effects of relaxation training combined with acupoint massage on anxiety patients with breast cancer during the stage of operation were evaluated by t test and repeated measures ANOVA.Results(1)The general conditions, the Hamiltion Anxiety Scale,Athens Insomnia Scale and Symptom Checklist 90 of the four groups had no significant difference before intervention(P>0.05).(2)The comparison of the scores of Hamiltion Anxiety Scale:Intra-group comparison indicated that the Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores of the four groups had significant difference between either two groups two days before operation, five days after operation and ten days after operation(P<0.01);The Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores had no significant difference among groups two days before operation and five days after operation(P>0.05),The Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores had significant difference among groups ten days after operation(P<0.01).After the completion of intervention, the Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores of the intervention group 1,the intervention group 2 and the intervention group 3 had significant differences compared to the control group(P<0.01);the Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores of the intervention group 3 had significant difference compared to the intervention group 1 and the intervention group 2(P<0.01);the Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores of the intervention group 1 had no significant difference compared to those of the intervention group 2(P>0.05).The clinical effects indicated by Hamiltion Anxiety Scale of the four groups had no significant difference five days after operation(P>0.05);the clinical effects indicated by Hamiltion Anxiety Scale of the four groups had significant differences in ten days after operation(P<0.01),and the clinical effect of the intervention group 3 was the highest.Repeated measures ANOVA revealed that Hamiltion Anxiety Scale scores had significant main effect, time effect as well as interaction effect with time(P<0.01).(3)The comparison of the scores of Athens Insomnia Scale:Intra-group comparison indicated that the Athens Insomnia Scale scores of the four groups had significant difference between either two groups two days before operation and ten days after operation(P<0.01);The Athens Insomnia Scale scores had no significant difference among groups two days before operation(P>0.05),The Athens Insomnia Scale scores had significant difference among groups ten days after operation(P<0.01).After the completion of intervention, the Athens Insomnia Scale scores of the intervention group 1,the intervention group 2 and the intervention group 3 had significant differences compared to the control group(P<0.01);the Athens Insomnia Scale scores of the intervention group 3 had significant difference compared to the intervention group 1 and the intervention group 2(P<0.01);the Athens Insomnia Scale scores of the intervention group 1 had no significant difference compared to those of the intervention group 2(P>0.05).(4)The comparison of the scores of Symptom Checklist 90:The factor Symptom Checklist 90 scores of the control group two days before operation had significant differences compared to those scores of the control group ten days after operation(P<0.01)except for somatization,obsessive-compulsive,depression,anxiety,hostility and diet sleep; The factor Symptom Checklist 90 scores of the intrevention group 1 and the intrevention group 2 two days before operation had significant differences compared to those scores of the intrevention group 1 and the intrevention group 2 ten days after operation(P<0.01)except for somatization and obsessive-compulsive;The factor Symptom Checklist 90 scores of the intrevention group 3 two days before operation had significant differences compared to those scores of the intrevention group 3 ten days after operation(P<0.01)except for somatization,obsessive-compulsive and hostility.Conclusion(1)Relaxation training, acupoint massage and relaxation training combined with acupoint massage could significantly improve anxiety and sleep for patients with breast cancer.(2)The effects of relaxation training combined with acupoint massage were better than those of relaxation training or acupoint massage alone on anxiety and sleep for patients with breast cancer.(3)There were no differences between the effects of relaxation training and acupoint massage on anxiety and sleep for patients with breast cancer. |
