| 【Objective】To evaluate the change of facial soft tissue after the mandibular angle osteotomy.Follow up after the surgery and analyze changes in data measured,and provide useful information for future the facial soft tissue change after mandibular angle osteotomy reference.【Method】CT（Comuterized tomography）examination was performed on 160 patients treated by mandibular angle ostemomy pre-operation and12 months post-operation,respectively.Intra-oral incision were used for adjusting PMA.The pre-and postoperative the ratio of the distance of the mandibular angle hypertrophy length of lower face and position of zygometic arch were obtained by CT.Calculation of the mandibular angle,the ratio between mandibular angle and height of mastoid and the distance ratio between both mandibualr angle and zygomatic process.【Result】Preoperative and postoperative 12 months facial soft tissue changes obviously of patients with mandibular angle hypertrophy.Preoperative mandibular Angle（109±1.7）°,post-operation measuring angle（121±2.1）°,preoperative the ratio between mandibular angle and height of mastoid process was 1:（1.5±0.12）,postoperative the ratio was 1:（1.92±0.15）.Preoperative according to measurement of the soft tissue,the distance ratio between both mandibular angle and zygomatic process was 1:（1.03±0.11）,postoperative the distance ratio was1:（1.2±0.21）.Patients’masseter obvious atrophy after 12 months postoperatively by mandibular Angle osteotomy,.Right atrophy 8.92±1.32 mm,left atrophy 9.74±2.47mm.Follow it the temporal muscle hyperplasia,2.04 mm hyperplasia of the right side and 2.73 mm on the left side of the hyperplasia.The Part surface area shrank by 14.9%,the atrophy of total volume achieve 12.8%of masseter muscle.Hyperplasia of temporal muscle area,surface area increased 17.1%,the total volume increased 13.3%.【Conclusion】The mandibular angle hypertrophy patients used by mandibular angle osteotomy after about 12 months,most persons could obtain more beautiful facial shape.Achieve preoperative design bone cutting amount,to forecast the facial soft tissue change after 12 months by the osteotomy.So throughout the osteotomy that could provide reference of the postoperative facial soft tissue change for clinical medicine. |
