Objective: To investigate the difference of clinical indicators between inpatients with pulmonary embolism(PE)and non-PE mental disorders,so as to improve the early recognition and diagnosis of PE in inpatients with mental disorders. Methods: The clinical data of inpatients diagnosed with PE by CT pulmonary angiography(CTPA)in Shenzhen Kangning Hospital from January 2020 to December2020 were collected retrospectively. The clinical data, examination and diagnosis status of 57 patients with mental disorders diagnosed as PE and 54 inpatients without PE were collected, and the possible risk factors of PE were mainly discussed. Results: The levels of D-dimer,LDH,albumin,FT4,S-100 b and hs-CRP in PE group were significantly higher than those in control group(P < 0.05),while the levels of prolactin and T3 in control group were significantly higher than those in PE group(P <0.05).Compared with the initial admission, the levels of D dimer, prolactin,PT and APTT in PE group at diagnosis were significantly increased(P < 0.05),while the levels of TP,TBIL,ALB,PA,uric acid,creatinine,urea,FT4,T4,RBC and HCT were significantly decreased(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in hyperuricemia, hyperprolactinemia, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, history of trauma surgery within 3 months, use of BZD,restraint protection and MECT between 2groups(P > 0.05).D dimer and ALB have significance in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism in hospitalized patients. Conclusion: D dimer and ALB are of great significance in monitoring the formation of PE in psychiatric inpatients.Hospitalized patients should be monitored for LDH,ALB,prolactin, uric acid,T3,FT4,S-100 b,HS-CRP,PT,APTT,RBC,HCT,etc.,to guard against the occurrence of pre-thrombotic state, inflammation, low nutrition level, etc. In the presence of multiple known risk factors for thrombosis, especially in the presence of abnormalities in the above indicators, the possibility of PE occurrence should be alert, and CTPA should be performed as soon as possible when necessary.
