The Clinical Effect Of Omalizumab In The Treatment Of Moderate To Severe Bronchial Asthama

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of omalizumab in treatment of moderate to severe asthma.Methods:48 patients with moderate to severe asthma were enrolled in this study.All patients were received omalizumab 16 weeks.Pulmonary function,the score of asthma control test,FENO test,and eosinophils were completed before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the pulmonary function of FEV1%pre was improved(75.31%±13.19% vs 78.75%±11.92%,P < 0.05);the ACT score was significantly higher(16.64±3.97 vs 22.36±2.21,P < 0.001);FENO was significantly lower(69.07±31.52 vs 35.5±15.65,P < 0.001);eosinophils decreased(0.60±0.39 vs 0.27±0.17,P < 0.05).Conclusion:Omalizumab can improve the lung function and control of asthma in patients with moderate and severe asthma.
