With the advent of the era of big data,the scientific research paradigm has entered a new stage,resulting in the fourth paradigm of scientific research—data-intensive science following experimental science,theoretical science,and computational science.Since then,in education,scientific research,etc.The field of data literacy research is increasing day by day.The main basis for medical decision-making is the best existing clinical conclusions,which are derived from a large amount of structuand unstructured data embodied in drug research and development,health management,scientific research,imaging diagnosis and treatment,electronic medical records,and patient behavior.However,with the development of cloud computing and other technologies,the amount of data has exploded,especially in the medical industry.A large amount of data supports the evidence for decision-making.The patient’s index characteristics and examination results are all reflected in data.The medical industry is flooded with a large amount of medical data,and to realize the value of medical data,the data of medical staff including doctors and medical researchers(the medical staff referred to in this article includes doctors and scientific researchers who work in hospitals and also teach in medical schools)Literacy education is very important.Cultivating the data literacy of medical staff conforms to the development needs of the information age,and is also an important way to cultivate high-quality medical talents with lifelong learning capabilities.In this paper,in order to compile a data literacy scale for medical staff,explore the current status of data literacy of medical staff,through combing the data literacy scale for specific populations,combining grounded theory and obtaining a data literacy scale for medical staff through interviews,through questionnaire survey The status quo of data literacy of medical staff is evaluated and verified through structural equation modeling,and countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for improving the data literacy of medical staff.The results of the study show that,in general,the data literacy of medical staff in my country is relatively high,but they are insufficient in three aspects: data exchange and sharing,data evaluation and interpretation,and data utilization;medical staff of different ages,regions,and titles There are significant differences in data literacy.In some indicators,especially data ethics indicators,job titles and regional levels are negatively correlated with scores.The higher the job title,the higher the degree of development of the city,and the less emphasis on data literacy.Recommendations for improving data literacy of medical staff are as follows:Improve the professional level of medical staff,conduct a large number of medical literature reading and case analysis;strengthen communication with colleagues,actively participate in case exchange meetings,academic conferences and other activities;hospitals can build a data sharing platform to simplify the process of obtaining patient data;The hospital can actively hold academic exchange activities,encourage personnel to participate,and provide resources such as medical databases and academic lectures.The evaluation scale has good reliability and validity,and can be used as a tool for evaluating data literacy of medical staff.
