Objective:Carotid Doppler Sonography(CDS)is used for routine screening of restenosis after carotid artery stenting(CAS)by monitoring intravascular blood flow velocity. However, computed tomography angiography(CTA)can not only directly detect restenosis,And overcome the limitations of CDS to some extent. The purpose of this article is to study the incidence of in-stent restenosis(ISR)after CAS through CTA and to determine the related factors of ISR.Methods:In order to analyze 60 follow-up patients undergoing stenting at the beginning of internal carotid artery stenosis,CTA examinations were performed during the follow-up period from January 2015 to December 2019.According to whether the degree of restenosis at the original treatment site was >50%,they were divided into restenosis group and non-restenosis group. The occurrence of restenosis(>50%)after CAS and its related risk factors were evaluated, and related predictive factors were made. The difference was statistically significant when P<0.05.Results:In the follow-up of 60 carotid artery stenting(CAS)patients(average 3years,range 1-6 years),the incidence of restenosis was 10.2%(10/60).Multivariate analysis showed that residual stenosis and degree of calcification(>50%)are statistically significant factors for restenosis after CAS,and are independent influencing factors for in-stent restenosis after CAS.Conclusion:Postoperative residual stenosis and degree of calcification(>50%)are independent risk factors for in-stent restenosis after internal carotid artery stenting(CAS).
