Clinical Observation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With Arthroscopic Debridement In The Treatment Of Early And Middle Knee Osteoarthritis

Purpose By observing the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with arthroscopic debridement in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,the mechanism and clinical significance of traditional Chinese medicine combined with arthroscopic debridement in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis were analyzed and evaluated,providing new thinkings and theoretical foundations for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with combination of Chinese traditional and western medicine.MethodsFrom June 2019 to June 2020,60 invalids who were diagnosed as knee osteoarthritis in the division of Orthopaedics of Wuhu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were stochastically divided into treatment group and matched group with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with Arthroscopic surgery.The matched group was treated with arthroscopic surgery.The basic data such as age,sex and X-ray grading were collected before treatment.After treatment,the changes of VAS pain score,Lysholm knee joint function score and TCM syndrome curative effect in two groups were observed one week and six months after treatment.All data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 24.0.Results(1)Basic data: there was no statistical difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).(2)VAS pain score: prior to remedy,there was no evident discrepancy between the two groups(P>0.05).After one week of remedy and six months of follow-up,the grades before and after remedy were compared between the two groups.After remedy,the knee ache of the two groups was significantly alleviated(P<0.05),and the treatment group was preferable than the matched group(P<0.05).(3)Lysholm function score: prior to remedy,there was no evident discrepancy between the two groups(P>0.05).After one week of remedy and six months of follow-up,the knee joint function of the two groups was significantly alleviated(P<0.05),and the therapy group was preferable to the matched group(P<0.05).(4)Evaluation of syndrome therapeutic effect: the efficient of the therapy group and the reference group were 93.3% and 80.0%,respectively,and there was a divergence between the two groups.(P<0.05).The therapy group was preferable to the matched group in TCM curative effect.ConclusionBy means of the analysis of clinical study data,in the therapy of patients with knee osteoarthritis in initial and middle period,traditional Chinese medicine combined with Arthroscopic surgery and Arthroscopic surgery alone have categorical curative effects.However,the former is superior to the latter in relieving pain,improving knee joint function and curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine,and it has long-term curative effect confirmed by follow-up.Arthroscopic debridement combined with traditional Chinese medicine therapy for knee osteoarthritis has played the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and improved the quality of life of patients,which is worth popularizing.
