As a strategic material of China,cotton is as important as the national food security and is a matter of national economic security.The cotton industry has a pivotal role in the national economy,the textile industry and the whole national economic development.With the rapid development of modern agriculture and the renewal of new technologies for agricultural mechanization,cotton-picking machine is widely used.According to the characteristics of high value,long service life,difficult life cycle management and maintenance,it is helpful to improve the quality of the cotton-picking machine and the working efficiency and reduce the fault rate by focusing on the working condition detection of core components and remote fault diagnosis,with the application of information technology,wireless mobile internet,virtual instrument technology,remote fault diagnosis and other technical methods.In order to establish a comprehensive monitoring system for cotton-picking machine,this paper takes 4MZ-5 self-propelled cotton-picking machine as the research object,and the real-time working condition monitoring system is designed on the basis of analyzing the monitoring systems for domestic and foreign agricultural machines.The main research of this thesis includes:1.Based on the CAN bus communication network,a working condition monitoring system is developed with Lab VIEW,which enables the real-time monitoring and the fault alarming of the core parts such as the picking head,fan,air pipe,engine and hydraulic tubing.The remote communication protocol is also designed,and the corresponding remote data transmission unit(DTU)is used to realize the communication between the on-board monitoring computer and the remote center server.2.The fault early warning for bearing based on the trend of temperature rise is designed.The SSA(Singular Spectrum Analysis)and AR model are used to extract and predict the trend of bearing temperature rise,and then Itakura distance is used to fault early warning for bearing.Bearing temperature rise test is also carried out in the laboratory,and the accuracy of the fault warning system for bearing is effectively verified.3.The cotton fire test is implemented and the corresponding changes of CO and NO gas concentrations generated during the occurrence of smoldering are investigated.In addition,the development of fire and the corresponding law of cotton smoldering are studied under the condition of low oxygen and rich oxygen by the CO and NO sensors.By combing the CO and NO sensors,we design the comprehensive monitoring for cotton smoldering to increase the detection accuracy and reduce the false alarm rate.4.Field test:The field test was done in Shihezi,Xinjiang,and the GuiHang 4MZ-5 self-propelled cotton-picking machine was carried out to verify the performance of the monitoring system,with the monitoring devices being mounted to the cotton-picking machine in each corresponding position.During the test period,the monitoring system,CAN bus communication and remote communication worked normally and well,the working condition parameters can be accurately displayed and saved,so as to achieve real-time monitoring to the working condition of cotton-picking machine in the operation process.
