Ploidy Analysis And Phenotypic Diversity Evaluation Of 36 Ornamental Crabapple

As a traditional ornamental plant in China,Malus has a long history of cultivation and has been widely used in modern society.In this experiment,36 ornamental crabapple resources were used as objects,the ploidy analysis and phenotypic diversity evaluation of the 36 resources were carried out.The later ornamental crabapple hybrid breeding business provides material basis and practical basis.This study draws the following conclusions:1.Chromosomal ploidy is different among different ornamental crabapple resources.Among the 36 ornamental crabapple,the control diploid Malus robusta peaked at a fluorescence intensity of 69.99,and the peak fluorescence intensity of Malus prattii Begonia was 1.42 times that of Malus robusta,Malus ‘Ioensis Klehms’ and Malus ‘Sargent Tina’ is 1.8 times that of Malus robusta,and other resources are similar to Malus robusta,that is,the ploidy of Malus robusta,Malus ‘Ioensis Klehms’ and Malus ‘Sargent Tina’ is similar to that of other ornamental crabapple resources.Different,closer to triploid and tetraploid.2.There were abundant phenotypic diversity among different ornamental crabapple.Based on the quantitative character diversity analysis of 36 ornamental crabapple resources,the variation coefficients of the 36 ornamental crabapple resources were all more than 10%,the dispersion degree of each character was large,and the diversity coefficients ranged from 3.4466 to 3.5720,all of which were more than 1,indicating that the resources of 36 ornamental crabapple varieties had rich diversity.The diversity index of quality traits ranged from 0.6652 to 1.13491,and the diversity index of quality traits of flowers and fruits was greater than 1,indicating that there was also rich diversity between flowers and fruits.3.Pollen characteristics of different ornamental crabapple differed greatly.The pollen vigor of different ornamental crabapple resources ranged from 1.3 to72.7%.The pollen vigor of ten species of crabapple resources,including Malus‘Fairytale Gold’、 Malus ‘Sugar Tyme’、 Malus ‘Adams’ 、 Malus ‘Molten Lava’、 Malus ‘Spring Snow’,was higher,all are above 50%,and the vitality of crabapple resources such as Malus ‘Donald Wyman’,Malus ‘Sargent Tina’,Malus‘Louisa’,Malus ‘ Golden Raindrops’ is lower than 25%.,and the coefficient of variation of the pollen vigor value of its 36 resources is 86.97%,that is,the pollen vigor of different resources is quite different.In the pollen morphological observation,the pollen morphologies of 36 resources are hyperprolate,prolate and subspherical.After significant analysis,there are certain differences in polar axis length,equatorial axis length,germination groove length,etc.,with rich diversity.
