The garlic needs to be broken into cloves first in order to plant or deep processing.With the development of foreign and domestic garlic planting and garlic deep processing industry,we need to increase the amount of garlic.At nowadays,garlic is mainly man-made.It is inefficient and takes a long time to meet the needs of large planters and enterprises.Although China has developed some garlic flapping machines,it has a low rate of broken flaps and a high breakage rate.The analysis of flapping principle and systematic and in-depth experimental studies are less,and the optimization of garlic flapper machinery and its technical level are improved.Because of this limitation,it is imperative that the mechanization of garlic be broken.In this paper,the mechanized flap breaking technology of garlic is studied.According to the principle of different flaps,the cone-disk and roll-to-roll flap test benches are designed and manufactured,which provides a certain reference for the promotion of the mechanized flap breaking of garlic.In this paper,the diameter and quality of several typical garlic were analyzed statistically.The main concentration range and distribution rule of different diameters of garlic were obtained,and the correlation between diameter and quality of the same variety was analyzed.Garlic mechanical flap is generally applied to the garlic to overcome the binding force between the garlic,so that the separation between the garlic,garlic will be broken into garlic,so the mechanical properties of garlic is an important basis for garlic mechanical flap.In this paper,it was found that the broken flaps of garlic can be divided into two processes: the first break and the second break through the experimental study on the static properties of garlic.It was found that the interaction of varieties,azimuths,diameters,and azimuths and diameters had a very significant effect on the initial breaking force of garlic.The varieties and azimuths of garlic have a very significant effect on the secondary breakage of garlic.On the basis of the analysis of the existing material breaking(shell)principle,we designed the cone disc type and the roll type garlic mechanized broken valve test rig and tested it through the experiment.The main factors affecting the breaking rate and breakage rate of cone disc and twin roll test rig are analyzed.The garlic feeding amount is 216g/s and the gap between the taper disc and the flat plate is 26.58 mm when the speed of the flat plate is 87.38r/min,which is the best scheme for the cone disc test rig.At this time the broken rate of the garlic is 95.3% and the breakage rate is 3.3%,which meets the demand of the garlic mechanized broken valve.It is the best cutting scheme for the roll test rig when the diameter of the first and two rollers is 130 mm,the clearance of the first and two grade to the roller is 15 mm,the feed volume of the garlic is 360g/s and the speed ratio of the first and two to the roll is 1:2.The breaking rate is 95.9% and the breakage rate is 3.7%,which meets the requirement of mechanized burst.With the optimized parameters of the cone disc type and the roller type mechanized valve breaking device,then the breaking rate of the valve can reach more than 95% and the breakage rate is less than 4%.It effectively solves the problem of high breaking rate and high breakage rate.
