| To effectively improve the harvesting efficiency of pigmented chillies and to protect the economic benefits of farmers,this paper investigates the vibratory harvesting mechanism of pigmented chillies based on the research of pigmented chilli harvesting devices at home and abroad,combined with china’s national conditions and the agronomic requirements of pigmented chillies.The mechanism of vibratory separation of pigmented peppers is proposed by studying the materialistic characteristics of pigmented peppers.By proposing the mechanism of vibratory separation of pigmented chillies,the main performance of vibration harvesting was studied through field harvesting test,as follows:(1)"Korean plate pepper"was selected as the test material to measure the material properties of plants and fruit,the pulling force of fruit stalk was measured by the test.It was found that the diameter of the pigmented pepper fruit was the largest near the pedicel and decreased with increasing distance from the pedicel so that the pigmented pepper fruit could be approximated as a cone.The results of the pedicel pulling force test on the pigmented pepper fruit showed that the average pulling force was 9.0N,12.5N,15.8N for fully ripe,semi-ripe and immature fruit respectively,the pedicel pulling force was inversely proportional to maturity;the pedicel removing force ranges were 8.3-9.7N,5.1-6.8N and 9.1-16.8N for first-stage,second stage,and third-stage fruit respectively.The fruit of the third branch had the highest pedicel pulling force values.(2)A study of the mechanism of vibrational separation of pigmented peppers was carried out.The kinetic analysis shows that vibration frequency,vibration amplitude,and vibration time affect the separation rate of the pigmented pepper,and the separation condition of the pigmented pepper is obtained:the normal inertia force of the pigmented pepper is greater than the bonding force between the fruit stalk and the branch.The working principle of the harvesting machine was used to determine the range of factor levels.Experimental studies were carried out for each factor,and a vibration separation test was conducted to verify the accuracy of the mathematical model.The trend pattern of each element with the separation rate and breakage rate was obtained by examining each factor:the regression equation was obtained through the analysis,where the coefficient of determination of the separation rate and breakage rate was more significant than 0.95.The verification test shows that under the better combination of factors,the separation rate and breakage rate are89.76%and 2.56%,respectively,and the average normal phase inertia force Fn is 19.12N,which is greater than the measured,theoretical binding force F0:16.8N,which is consistent with Fn>F0.It was concluded that vibration amplitude,vibration frequency,and vibration time significantly affected the separation rate and separation conditions of pigmented peppers.(3)Field trials of vibratory separation of pigmented peppers were carried out.The range of test factors was determined by the field single factor test.The operating range of vibration time was obtained as 10-20s,the operating range of vibration amplitude as 76-116mm,and the operating range of vibration frequency 10-15Hz.The test was carried out with the harvesting rate and breakage rate of pigmented peppers as the test indexes,and the best combination was obtained.According to the actual working conditions for parameter adjustment,under the conditions of vibration time 15s vibration amplitude 91mm vibration frequency 13.5Hz,the separation rate of pigmented pepper vibration harvesting device is 91.06%.The breakage rate is 1.75%to meet the operational requirements. |
