| Cinnamomum camphora is a representative tree species of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest.It is a national second-class protected plant and combines precious materials,pharmaceutical and chemical raw materials,and landscape ecological benefits.In the long process of using,cultivating and appreciating camphor trees,people have formed a rich and colorful camphor tree culture from knowing and using to protecting and cultivating camphor trees.It has also made camphor tree the most prefecture-level city tree(37)in the country.In addition,Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces also designated camphor tree as the provincial tree.Based on the collation of literature,field surveys and typical case analysis,this paper conducted a systematic study on the cultural connotation and characteristics of camphor tree,the morphological form of camphor tree culture,and the inheritance and development of camphor tree culture in the construction of modern ecological civilization.It aimed to provide a reference for the effective protection,scientific cultivation and rational use of camphor tree resources and promotion of the development of camphor tree cultural industry.The key research findings were as follows:(1)The symbol of health and longevity,the virtues of harmony,respect and filial piety,the spirit of benevolence and open-mindedness,and the humble and indifferent ethics were the cultural connotations of camphor trees.Ecological,humanistic and regional were the basic characteristics of camphor tree culture.(2)The camphor tree culture has rich manifestations at the physical level,technical level,artistic level and spiritual level.The camphor tree culture at the physical level included material wealth such as wooden products,traditional Chinese medicine products and chemical raw materials produced with camphor trees as raw materials.The camphor tree culture at the technical level included the research literature and research results on biological learning,ecological characteristics,scientific cultivation technology,and effective protection and utilization of resources.In the poems appreciating and praising camphor trees,the various camphor tree landscapes and the various camphor wood carvings contained the artistic level of the camphor tree culture.The spiritual level of camphor tree culture was widely permeated in the fields of characteristic place names,celebrity stories,folk traditions and historical legends.(3)The profound cultural connotation,strong ecological function and extensive use value have enabled the camphor tree culture to be further inherited and carried forward in the construction of modern ecological civilization.Mainly manifested in: in-depth research and comprehensive understanding of camphor trees,thereby enriching the camphor tree culture at the technical level.Scientific configuration and creating camphor tree landscapes,thereby enhancing the camphor tree culture at the artistic level.Comprehensive utilization and developing new products,thereby expanding the camphor tree culture at the physical level.Protect resources and dig out research on folk camphor tree,thereby promoting the spiritual camphor tree culture.Camphor tree culture is an important part of forest culture and ecological culture.It has high development value and has a broad mass base.In the future,it is possible to develop camphor tree culture industry and promote camphor tree culture by scientifically protecting ancient camphor trees and ancient camphor forests and other camphor tree cultural carriers,and strengthening the integration with eco-tourism and forest leisure. |
