| The cotton whitefly,Bemisia tabaci(Hemiptera:Aleyrodidae),is one of the most important pests in agricultural production,which can harm more than 600 kinds of plants.At present,chemical control is still the main method for controlling B.tabaci.However,the unreasonable and excessive use of pesticides has caused the resistance of B.tabaci to a variety of conventional insecticides to some extent.Therefore,more and more attention has been paid to controlling the occurrence of B.tabaci population by using ecological control methods such as repelling plants.In this study,Six common coriander varieties,i.e.,Nai Chou Tai Da Ye,Su Sheng Da Ye,Angel,Huang Jia Sai Huo,Qiang Shi and Lu Jun,were selected as the research objects to study the repellent effect on B.tabaci under laboratory and greenhouse conditions.The main results are as follows:1.Field selection experiments showed that corianderes had obvious repellent effect on B.tabaci.Among them,Qiang Shi had the strongest repellent effect,while Su Sheng Da Ye had the worst repellent effect.The results of the indoor Y-tube test showed that the volatiles of the six coriander varieties all had repellent effects on B.tabaci.Among them,the female B.tabaci has the lowest selectivity for Nai Chou Tai Da Ye variety,which was30.7%;Su Sheng Da Ye variety had the highest selectivity,which was 42.2%;the males had the lowest selectivity for An Ji Er variety,which was 37.9%;and had the highest selectivity for Lv Jun variety,which was 40.1%.2.The volatiles of different coriander varieties were collected by SPME,and the volatile components of coriander were identified by GC-MS,and 19 volatile substances identified.10,11,14,13,14 and 12 compounds were identified from the 6 coriander varieties.Among them,five kinds of volatiles,including Ocimene,γ-Elemene,Isooctyl acetate,2-phenyl-2-butanol andα-Pinene,were identified in six coriander varieties.The Y-tube test showed that 10-1mg/mlα-Pinene had a repellent effect on B.tabaci,while Ocimene had no effect.3.The control effect of tomato and Qiang Shi on B.tabaci was studied in greenhouse.The results showed that the control effect of different intercropping ratios on B.tabaci adults and nymphs gradually increased with time.Among them,the two intercropping methods had no significant difference in the control effect on the adult B.tabaci adults,but 2:1 intercropping ratio has stronger control effect on B.tabaci nymphs than 3:1 intercropping ratio.In conclusion,the 6 coriander varieties had obvious repellent effects on B.tabaci under laboratory and greenhouse conditions,the Nai Chou Tai Da Ye and Qaing Shi varieties had better repellent effects;Theα-Pinene,one of the coriande volatiles,had an obvious repellent effect on B.tabaci;the intercropping of tomato and coriander can effectively control the population of B.tabaci... |
