Ultrasound technique,as a non-invasive detection tool, has the advantage of observing the morphology and structure of the organs,as well as the position and relationship between the adjacent organs,so it can provide a relatively reliable diagnosis for finding the location and property of lesions. However,it is insufficient to use the single method to observe the property, blood perfusion and structure of the lesion.Therefore,contrast-enhanced ultrasound is particularly important, especially in the clinical diagnosis of small animals.Till now, there are few report of the relevant study, that is the reason why we begin studying. In this study,10 experimental mixed breed dogs, weighing about 4~6 kg,were our study subjects.SonoVue,which is made of sulphur hexafluoride microbubbles, was used as contrast agent.Firstly,in order to select an appropriate and cost saving dose, dogs were injected with contrast agent in 0.5 mL/m2,1 mL/m2,2 mL/m2 and 3 mL/m2.Secondly,in order to select an efficient restraint drug, which had less influence on the blood perfusion of organs under contrast-enhanced ultrasound, the experienment was conducted to observe the images of organs after injecting contrast agent.Thirdly,in order to study the development and dissipation time of contrast agent in organs, image analysis software was used.It can also provide relative data for the studying of blood perfusion and drug usage.Results:(1)The result showed that the contrast agent dose of each organ was 2 mL/m2 in the liver,3 mL/m2 in the spleen,2 mL/m2 in the kidney, and 0.5 mL/m2 in the heart. It is efficient and economical for veterinarian to use Sonovue.(2)Etomidate,as a restraint drug using in contrast ultrasound can achieve the ideal restraint result and reach an ignorable influence on the blood perfusion of each organ.(3)After the contrast agent was injected, the liver developed at7.5±2 s,reached the peak at 16.5 ± 2.5 s and 27.5 ± 7 s in portal venous phase and hepatic arterial phase, dissipated after 551 s.Renal development began at 7± 2.5 s,kidney cortex development reached its peak twice at 10 ± 3 s and 21 ± 5 s,medulla renis reached its peak at 16.5± 3.5 s,and dissipated after 220 s.The development of spleen began at 7.5 ℃ 2.5 s,peaked at 30 ± 10 s,and dissipated after 500 s.The left and right cavities of the heart began to develop at 2 ± 0.8 s and 3.5± 1.5 s respectively.
