Selenium is an important trace element,one of the essential elements to maintain the normal function of the human body,and can prevent many human diseases.However,the human body cannot automatically synthesize selenium,and it still needs to be obtained from food in daily life.The biofortification of selenium is a good way to meet the daily intake of selenium.In this study,the Chinese cabbage was taken as the object,sodium selenate(Na2Se O4)was selected as the selenium source,and the experiment was divided into 4 treatments:CK,Se,Pi,Pi+Se;the roots of the Chinese cabbage seedlings were inoculated with Piriformis Bacteria liquid,plant it in the soil after the selenization treatment.Through the interaction with Piriformospora indica(Piriformospora indica),the growth status of Chinese cabbage and the accumulation of selenium were studied.After sampling,relevant physiological indicators,selenium content and transcriptome analysis were determined.The results showed that the co-inoculation of Piriformis indica and selenate(Pi+Se treatment)did not significantly increase the levels of total chlorophyll and carotenoids,but it significantly increased the net photosynthetic rate compared with the control,resulting in biological growth of the entire plant.The amount has increased significantly.Under the Pi+Se treatment,compared with the control,the contents of anthocyanins,ascorbic acid,soluble protein and soluble sugars,total phenols,and flavonoids in Chinese cabbage seedlings were significantly higher,but this treatment had an effect on glutathione levels.No effect.The sulfur/selenium transporters(PIIN_02349 and PIIN_11692)contained in Piriformis spores can promote the accumulation of selenium in Chinese cabbage to a certain extent.Compared with the control group,Pi+Se treatment resulted in a significant increase in the accumulation of organic selenium,inorganic selenium and total selenium.The increase in total selenium content is related to the significant increase in selenate intake caused by Pseudomonas pyriformis.Transcriptome analysis showed that Pi+Se treatment greatly affected gene expression,especially those related to secondary metabolism and selenium metabolism.These changes in secondary metabolism and selenium metabolism are closely related to the increase in the accumulation of total phenols,flavonoids,anthocyanins,ascorbic acid and selenium.Therefore,it can be concluded that co-inoculation with Piriformis indica and selenate can improve the quality of Chinese cabbage seedlings and increase the accumulation of selenium.In view of the high demand of Chinese cabbage in the daily life of residents,in horticulture practice,Piriformis indicus and selenate are inoculated together to meet the daily intake of selenium.
