In this study, with desert grassland plant functional groups as the research object, through field survey and indoor analysis, the change characteristics and spatial distribution changes of each plant functional group under grazing intensity and seasonal control were explored, and gray correlation analysis and Topsis analysis were used to determine the response of plant functional groups to different grazing intensity and seasonal control. The aim is to determine the appropriate grazing intensity and reasonable grazing methods, and to provide basic data and theoretical basis for the rational utilization of the desert grasslands of short-flower needles. The main findings are as follows:1.Grazing increases the density of perennal weeds, perennal weeds, and one-and two-year-old plants. With the increase of grazing intensity, the proportion of perennional grass density increased gradually, spring grazing increased the proportion of perennional weeds, and the density of each grazing treatment shrub and semi-shrub was lower, and the difference was not obvious.2.With the increase of grazing intensity, the biomass of perennal grasses, oneand two-year-old plants, shrubs and semi-shrubs decreased gradually, while the biomass of perennal weeds showed a downward trend and then increased; Both were larger, but lower in SA4 and SA3 treatments, and grazing after spring grazing increased the biomass of perennal grasses,one-and two-year-old plants, shrubs and semi-shrubs,but reduced the biomass of perennal weeds.3.Under different grazing intensity, the spatial heterogeneity of perennate grass, perennate weeds, and one-and two-year-old plant density is strongest in SA5,with complex spatial distribution and weak spatial dependence.4.After the spring break, the density of each functional group has a weak spatial heterogeneity, the spatial distribution is more uniform, while in spring grazing, the spatial heterogeneity of the density of each functional group is enhanced, and the spatial distribution is more complex.5.Different grazing intensity treatments, the regulation of spring rest, summer heavy grazing and autumn middle grazing are the best way to use grasslands, and heavy grazing performs worst in the sustainable use of grassland resources throughout the year.
