| Activated water refers to the treatment of agricultural irrigation water with activation technology, which improves the activity of water molecules and the efficiency of biological utilization, and has great potential for saving water resources. In this paper, adding woody peat to the soil to grow soybeans and the substrate to cultivate soybeans as the research object, the effects of activated water irrigation on the soil organic matter content,p H and electrical conductivity, the effects of activated water irrigation on the growth characteristics, yield and water use efficiency of soybean under the condition of soil adding woody peat, and the effects of activated water irrigation on the growth characteristics and root system of soybean under drought condition were studied. It is expected to provide reference for the efficient use of water resources in arid and semi-arid regions. The conclusions are as follows:(1)After a growth period of magnetized water and aerated water irrigated, the soil organic matter content increased by 5.9% and 8.7%,the soil p H decreased by 2.8% and 1.9%,and the electrical conductivity in the soil increased by 21.8% and 5.4%,respectively;but for the soil added with woody peat, the content of soil organic matter decreased by 6.0% and 11.4%,p H increased by 0.9% and 0.6%,but soil conductivity increased by 10.6% for irrigation with magnetized water, and decreased by 17.6% for irrigation with aerated water, after a growth period of magnetized water and aerated water irrigation compared with tap water irrigation. The results showed that activated water irrigation could improve soil physical and chemical properties and promote the utilization of organic matter in woody peat by soybean.(2)Under severe drought conditions, the total biomass, leaf area, root shoot ratio and root length of soybean irrigated with magnetized water increased by 67.6%,23.5%,84.6% and122.8% respectively, and those irrigated with magnetized aerated water increased by 70.8%,24.0%,61.9% and 162.3% respectively. However, there was no significant effect on chlorophyll.Compared with tap water, the total biomass and root length of soybean irrigated with aerated water increased by 29.6% and 84.4%,There was no significant effect on root shoot ratio. The above results showed that magnetized water irrigation could maintain good root growth ability, change the material distribution of soybean, promote the material transfer to root system, improve the stress resistance of soybean under drought conditions, and alleviate the decrease of material accumulation caused by drought stress.(3)Soybean pot experiment results show that, regardless of whether woody peat is added to the soil, magnetized water and aerated water irrigation promoted the increase of soybean leaf biomass and leaf area whether or not adding woody peat to the soil. However, the plant height and stem diameter of soybean were inhibited by activated water irrigation when no woody peat was added. The plant height of soybean irrigated with magnetized water and aerated water increased by 2.9% and 6.0%,and the stem diameter increased by 4.5% and 2.0%respectively.However,compared with tap water irrigation, magnetized water and aerated water irrigation increased the net photosynthetic rate by 10.1% and 12.3%,respectively.In the treatment of adding woody peat, the water use efficiency of magnetized water and aerated water for irrigation treatment was significantly increased by 25.5% and 31.4% than that of tap water treatment. The above results show that activated water irrigation can promote the growth and development of soybean leaves and alleviate the decrease in net photosynthetic rate caused by the addition of woody mud.The combined action with woody peat can alleviate the negative effects of activated water on soybean plant height and stem thickness, the interaction of adding woody peat and activated water for irrigation significantly improved the water use efficiency of soybeans. |
