Study On The Fine Stock-scion Combination Of’tiangong Cuiyu’ Grapevine

The hot and humid climate in southern China led to the problems of low fruit-bearing branch rate,low yield,easy sunburn,soft fruit,low fruit quality and poor heat resistance of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ grapevine.However,some rootstock varieties showed strong adaptability and showed good growth and fruit performance.In this study,16 rootstocks were grafted into ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ grape as test material,and’Tiangong Cuiyu’ root-tree as control.The phenological period,growth and fruiting habits,fruit quality,heat resistance and other physiological indexes of the plants were determined.Principal component analysis was used to screen out the excellent Stock-scion combinations.The main research results are as follows:1.The germination time of grafting trees of ’Kangzhen No.5’,’225RU’ and’Kangzhen No.6’ was earlier than that of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ self-rooted trees;’Huajia No.8’ and ’Kangzhen No.6’ stocks can enhance the growth potential of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’.’420A’,’5BB’,’Huajia No.8’ and ’Kangzhen No.6’ root-grafted trees basically had no’small feet’ phenomenon,and the root-spike affinity was observed.The fruiting branch percentage of ’Huajia No.8’,’Kangzhen No.6’ and ’Beta’ root-grafted trees was higher than that of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ root-grafted trees.’Freedom’,’5BB’,’Kangzhen No.1’,’225RU’,’101-14’,’Huajia No.8’ and ’Kangzhen No.6’ rootstocks significantly increased the yield of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ scion.For fruit quality,’Freedom’,’Kangzhen No.5’,’Kangzhen No.3’,’225RU’,’101-14’,’Kangzhen No.6’ and ’Beta’ could all improve the fruit hardness of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’.The total sugar content of ’110R’,’225Ru’ and ’Kangzhen No.6’ root-grafted trees was higher than that of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ root-grafted trees.The content of titratable acid of grafted trees of ’5C’,’Freedom’,’Kangzhen No.1’ and ’Huajia 8’ rootstocks were all higher than that of’Tiangong Cuiyu’ root-trees.’Kangzhen No.6’ and ’Beta’ stocks increased the total phenol content of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’.The oxalic acid content of the grafted trees of’Kangzhen No.1’,’225Ru’ and ’Kangzhen No.6’ rootstocks was all higher than that of’Tiangong Cuiyu’ rootstocks.The content of tartaric acid of ’Kangzhen No.6’ and’Beta’ root-grafted trees was higher than that of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ root-grafted trees.The malic acid content of grafted trees of ’5BB’ and ’Huajia No.8’ anvil was higher than that of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ root-tree.2.The root tree of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’ had the highest sunburn rate and the lowest chlorophyll SPAD value;The protein content of leaves grafted by ’Kangzhen No.6’and ’Beta’ anvil was higher than that of self-rooted trees.’Freedom’,’5BB’,’225RU’,’101-14’,’SO4’,’Huajia No.8’,’Kangzhen No.6’ and ’Beta’ root-grafted leaves had lower relative conductivity than that of autoroot-grafted trees.The relative water content of ’Huajia No.8’,’Kangzhen No.6’ and ’Beta’ anvil grafted trees were all higher than that of self-root trees.According to the comprehensive evaluation of principal component analysis,the results suggest that ’Kangzhen No.6’,’Huajia No.8’,’Kangzhen No.1’,’225RU’ and’5BB’ rootstocks were all excellent grape rootstocks of ’Tiangong Cuiyu’.Comprehensive evaluation ’Kangzhen No.6’ rootstock is the most suitable for’Tiangong Cuiyu’ grape rootstock.
