| Pinellia ternata(Thunb.)is a perennial herbaceous plant, and its dry tubers is used as medicine.P.ternata is one of commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in our country, which has cough, eliminating phlegm, analgesia, anticancer, reducing blood fat, oxidation resistance and other functions. With the studied of P.ternata, the researchers also found that P.ternata has anti-tumor,anti-inflammatory,anti-early pregnancy and other pharmacological effects. With the increase of function and medicinal value of P.ternata, the demand of P.ternata is increasing. However, the planting yield of P.ternata in our country is low,and the wild resource are also short. In this paper,P.ternata was used as experimental material to explore the effects of brassinolide(BR)concentration, ridging soil, and the interaction between ridging and BR on the yield and quality of P.ternata tuber,in order to provide theoretical basis for P.ternata in production and planting. In the process of field experiment,it was accidentally found that pheasants like to feed on P.ternata bulbil. In order to understand the effect of pheasant feeding on P.ternata,an experiment was designed immediately after pheasant feeding, and some preliminary results were obtained.1.The effects of ridging soil on yield and quality of P.ternata.The experiment studied the differences of primary metabolites and secondary metabolites in tubers of P.ternata between ridging soil and no ridging soil. The results showed that ridging soil treatment significantly increased the phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL)activity,flavonoids,alkaloids,β-sitosterol and the yield of bulbil, but ridging soil treatment reduced the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein and vitamin C in the primary metabolites of P.ternata.Ridging soil could promote the yield and the contents of active ingredients of P.ternata.2.The effect of BR on tuber quality and yield of P.ternata.In this experiment,P.ternata tuber were soaked with 0,0.01,0.05,0.10,0.20,0.60 and 1.20 mg/L BR for 24 hours. The results indicated that the low concentration of BR(0.01,0.1and 0.2 mg/L)significantly increased the contents of alkaloid,β-sitosterol,free amino acid, total soluble sugar, soluble protein and vitamin C,and PAL activity. The high concentration of BR(1.2 mg/L)markedly reduced the contents of flavone,alkaloid,β-sitosterol,free amino acid, total soluble sugar, soluble protein and vitamin C,and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase activity. When the concentrations of BR were 0.05,0.1,0.2 and 1.2 mg/L,the bulbil yield was significantly increased.3.The effects of BR and ridging soil on the yield and quality of P.ternata.The experiment included four levels of BR treatments(0,0.01,0.1 and 0.2 mg/L)and two ridging treatments(ridging and no ridging).Compared with control, application of BR significantly increased the contents of alkaloids,β-sitosterol,free amino acids, soluble sugar, soluble protein vitamin C and PAL activity of P.ternata under no ridging treatments.Without exogenous BR application, ridging treatment also significantly increased the contents of flavonoids,alkaloids,β-sitosterol,free amino acids,PAL activity and bulbil yield of P.ternata.The comprehensive analysis showed that the application of 0.10-0.20 mg/L BR could not only significantly increase the yield of P.ternata, but also make P.ternata with the higher PAL activity,DPPH free radical scavenging rate,flavonoids,β-sitosterol,soluble protein and vitamin C content under ridging soil.4.The effects of pheasant feeding on secondary metabolites and nutrients in different parts of P.ternata.In the process of the experiment,it was immediately marked with a small stick and covered with a bird net to prevent the pheasant from feeding again after pheasant feeding. In order to understand the influence of pheasant feeding on P.ternata, this experiment was arranged immediately after pheasant feeding. The results showed that the contents of alkaloid,β-sitosterol,PAL activity, soluble sugar, free amino acid and soluble protein in aboveground bulbil and tubers of P.ternata were significantly increased by pheasant feeding. The secondary metabolites(except for alkaloids)and nutrients in the underground bulbil of P.ternata were significantly decreased after pheasant ingestion.Next, the simulation experiment of pheasant feeding will be designed systematically to explore the influence of pheasant feeding on P.ternata more scientifically and accurately. |
