| Inner Mongolia is under a territory with abundant livestock resources.The Mongolian sheep is cold and drought resistant,is suitable for grazing,which is precious local breed resources and promote the development of Inner Mongolia husbandry.Mineral elements are necessary for animals to maintain normal life,which affects animal growth and reproduction.In recent years,different herdsmen’s feeding methods and feed additives,the mineral elements in livestock serum have been changed largely.The nutrition of grazing sheep in different regions of Inner Mongolia is unclear.The study on the mineral nutritional and health status of grazing Mongolian sheep in different regions of Inner Mongolia provide support for proper supplementary feeding according to local suitiation.The 1081 grazing Mongolian sheep blood from 17 pastures were collected from Xilin Gol League(Abaga Banner,East Ujimqin Banner,and West Ujimqin banner),Hulunbuir city(Xin Barag Left Banner)and Uxin Banner.22 mineral elements and biochemical indexes in the serum were analysed.The results are as following:(1)The contents of mineral elements Cu,Mn and Se in grazing Mongolian sheep serum from different banners were different.Compared with the reported normal serum levels of sheep,the contents of Cu in grazing Mongolian sheep serum from Abaga Banner and Uxin Banner was lower.The contents of Mn in the Mongolian sheep serum from Abaga Banner,West Ujimqin Banner and East Ujimqin Banner were lower than the normal levels.The contents of Se in the Mongolian sheep serum from Abaga Banner,West Ujimqin Banner,East Ujimqin Banner and Xin Barag Left Banner were all lower than the normal level.(2)The content of trace elements concentrations in grazing Mongolian sheep serum from different pastures in the same area was unique.Contents of Se in sheep serum were lower than the normal level or even reached the deficiency level of many pastures.In Abaga Banner,it found that the contents of Cu and Se in the Mongolian sheep serum from the pasture one,pasture three and pasture four were lower than the normal level,while the contents of Cu from the pasture three was deficient,which was lower than the reference value by 60%.The low level of Cu contents from the pasture one and pasture four,which was lower than the reference value by 11% and 27%.Contents of Se from three pastures were lack of high degree,and lower than the reference value by more than 50%.The content of Se was deficient and Mn,Zn and Cu in the sheep serum were below from the pasture two in East Ujimqin Banner.The content of Se in the sheep serum from seven pastures were lower than normal level in East Ujimqin Banner.The content of Mn in sheep serum was lower in the pasture one and the contents of Se was deficient than the reference value by 78% of the pasture three in Xin Barag Left Banner(3)Serum physiological and biochemical indexes of grazing Mongolian sheep in different pastures were different.The contents of total antioxidant capacity,catalase activity and contents of reduced glutathione and triglyceride in grazing Mongolian sheep serum in Uxin banner were significantly higher than that of other counties.The activity of superoxide dismutase and content of malondialdehyde in serum was the highest in the pasture one and pasture two in Xin Barag Left Banner,respectively.These findings indicated that grazing Mongolian sheep in Uxin Banner and Xin Barag Left Banner had strong antioxidant and immune capacities. |
