| In order to explore the relationship between the characteristics of hydraulic architecture and drought resistance of wild Vitis germ plasm resources in karst mountain area.In this study,field experiment and pot experiment were used to identify the ability of hydraulic architecture characteristics of wild Vitis.7 specials 22 genotypes of wild Vitis reso-urces originated from Guizhou were used as field experiment materials.V.vinifera L.’red globe’ and V.vinifera.×labrusca ‘crystal’were used as control The relationship betwee-n hydraulic architecture characteristics and drought resistance of Vitis quinquangularis Rehd.’huaxi-9’,V.davidii Fo(?)x.’Ziqiu’ and V.vinifera L.’Red Globe’ were studied.1.The results showed that the water use strategies of different wild Vitis populations in Guizhou were different,and the water use strategy of "Vitis quinquangularis Rehd." was the best,which belonged to the high-efficiency water use mechanism.The "V.davidii Fo(?)x.","V.bellula(Rehd.)W.T.Wang.","V.flexuosa Thunb." is better,"V.adenoclada Hand-Mazz." & "V.wilsonae Veitch" is commonly,the "V.pseudoreticulata W.T.Wang." is worst.Among the different genotypes,the ‘huaxi-9’is the best,comprehensive performance of ‘maolan-5’,‘’maolan-11,gechen,‘xishui-4’,‘ziqiu’ and ‘maolan-11’ are better,respect-ively The performance of ’guanling-1’,’xiaoqikong-1 ’and’ dongpo-1 ’were not good,and the rest of the test materials were not good.2.The seasonal variation of LWP,KH,KS and HV of wild Vitis were the highest in summer,followed by spring and summer,and the lowest in autumn.The seasonal variation of LSC and hydraulic structure of "V.pseudoreticulata W.T.Wang." were the highest in ’spring and summer’,followed by ’summer’ and ’Autumn’ The results show that the hydraulic architecture,stem specific conductivity,leaf water potential and Huber valueare greatly affected by monthly precipitation and average temperature,while leaf specific conductivity(LSC)is little affected by environmental factors;hydraulic conductivity among hydraulic structure parameters has great influence on stem specific conductivity and leaf water potential,and leaf specific conductivity has little correlation with stem segment parameters.3.In the study on the hydraulic architecture characteristics of different height canopy of wild Vitis,the "middle" organ has the strongest ability,the lower part has the second place,and the upper part has the weakest;in the comparison of the morphological architecture characteristics of wild Vitis,the organ function of "huaxi-9" is stronger;through the research on the accumulation of organ biomass of wild Vitis,it is found that the stem leaf of wild Vitis is the best the relationship between them is all metric growth.4.The effects of drought stress on the hydraulic architecture of wild Vitis were different,showing a daily variation rule of "early low,late high." compared with ‘Ziqiu’ and ‘Red Globe’,‘huaxi-9’ maintained relatively high hydraulic architecture characteristics,which indicated that‘huaxi-9’ could adjust water transport mechanism to adapt to the environment when suffering from drought slope,and the response degree of Vitis organs to drought also existed The results showed that ’huaxi-9’ had better stem segment architecture and thicker leaf architecture under this condition,indicating that ’huaxi-9’ was more prone to herophytic architecture;under drought stress,’huaxi-9’ had the lowest antioxidant enzyme content,indicating that the damage degree of leaf tissue cells was the least.Ther-efore,the drought resistance of ‘huaxi’ was the strongest,‘ziqiu’was the second,and re-d globe was the weakest.5.Through the comprehensive analysis of the results of field and pot experiments,it is found that the hydraulic architecture characteristics can coordinate the accumulation and distribution of organ components and help the leaf growth under normal growth conditions,that is,the high energy consumption of leaves can promote the stem segment to improve the functionality,and rely on more growth accumulation to resist drought,which is the all metric coordinated growth relationship;under drought stress,hydraulic architecture characteristics regulate the water supply tendency,the main supply the physiological function of stem segment was operated and the water physiological demand of leaf was reduced,which was a balance of distribution and regulation.The above results showed that the hydraulic architecture characteristics of different populations of wild Vitis were significantly different under the effects of genetic specificity and habitat environment conditions,and showed corresponding adaptive changes.The water transport mechanism and morphological architecture function under different conditions were adjusted,and the drought resistance was different.These results can provide a theoretical basis for the selection of drought resistant Vitis varieties,the utilization of drought resistant root stocks and the screening of excellent provenances in karst areas. |
