| Acer truncatum and Acer buergerianum are famous autumn leaf tree species,which are widely used in landscaping.Acer paxii,an evergreen tree,is one of the unique landscape tree species in China.In recent years,these three kinds of maple have been selected and bred new cultivars for landscaping,but their health and medicinal value are unknown.It is an important research direction that garden plants have both ornamental value and medicinal value.Therefore,this study has further explored the medicinal value of Acer truncatum,Acer buergerianum and Acer paxii.Corilagin,a hydrolyzed tannin,has various pharmacological activities such as antitumor,antiinflammatory,lowering blood pressure,and inhibiting viruses.It is one of the major active components of many ethnopharmacological plants.It has been detected in the leaves of Acer amoenum and Acer nikoense,but it has not been reported whether Acer truncatum,Acer buergerianum and Acer paxii contain corilagin.In this study,a suitable ultra performance liquid chromatography(UPLC)method was established to detect the content of corilagin in the leaves of three kinds of maple.After confirming that they contain corilagin,using different provenances and cultivars of Acer truncatum,different cultivars of Acer buergerianum and Acer paxii as test materials,carriing out dynamic determination and comparative analysis on the content of coliracin in leaves of different harvest months.And the high-content cultivars were screened from the species,and the content changes of high-content cultivars in the leaf deciduous and new-leaf stages were further studied.Finally,the content of corilagin in different organs of Acer buergerianum tetraploid cultivar ‘Xingwang’ was determined.The main conclusions obtained were as follows:1.For the first time,it was discovered that the leaves of Acer truncatum,Acer buergerianum and Acer paxii contain corilagin.The established UPLC method had good precision,stability and repeatability,with an average recovery of 95.31%.It could be used for the quantitative analysis of corilagin in three kinds of maple.2.There were significant differences in leaf corilagin content among different tree species of Acer genus,different provenances and cultivars of the same tree species,and different harvest time.Comparison of the three types of maples: the content of corilagin in Acer buergerianum leaves was higher than that of Acer paxii,which was higher than Acer truncatum.3.The content of corilagin in leaves of Acer truncatum ranged from 0.03 mg/g to 0.86mg/g from May to October.Among the six provenances,Neixiang had the highest content in May(0.86 mg/g);The contents of the six provenances were higher in May,and there were two types of monthly dynamic trends.Among the four cultivars,the content of ‘Lvbaoshi’was the highest in June(0.61 mg/g);The monthly dynamic trend of the four cultivars was not uniform,but the content was higher in May and June.4.The content of corilagin in leaves of Acer buergerianum ranged from 1.50 mg/g to6.89 mg/g from May to October.The monthly dynamic trends of the four cultivars were different,but the contents were higher in October.The three high-content cultivars of‘Xingwang’,‘Qianlihong’ and ‘Qilujin’ had higher levels of corilagin in the deciduous period,which were suitable for leaf picking;Among them,the best harvest time for ‘Xingwang’ was around November 6,and for ‘Qianlihong’ and ‘Qilujin’ around October 27 th.The corilagin content in the tender leaves of four cultivars of Acer buergerianum in the new leaf stage was much higher than that in other growth stages,and the highest content was 12.70 mg/g.5.The content of corilagin in leaves of Acer paxii varied from 0.06 mg/g to 2.66 mg/g from May to October,and the content of ‘Lulv’ was the highest in June;Although the monthly dynamic trends of the two cultivars were inconsistent.Both cultivars were suitable for picking leaves during the deciduous period.‘Lulv’ should be around November 21 st,and ‘Fengcai’should be around November 15 th.6.Different organs of Acer buergerianum tetraploid cultivar ‘Xingwang’ all contained corilagin: petiole(6.39 mg/g)> leaf blade(6.23 mg/g)> peel(2.65 mg/g)> twig(0.31mg/g)> bark(0.16 mg/g)> seed kernel(0.01 mg/g). |
