Endometritis is a common reproductive disease in cows.The disease has a complex cause,long course,high incidence,and is more common in postpartum dairy cows.It has a serious impact on dairy cows’ production function,increases the risk of lifelong infertility and elimination rate of dairy cows,and greatly reduces the yield rate of dairy cows.The pathogenic microorganisms of the disease are multifarious,especially bacteria,and the pathogenic microorganisms vary greatly in different regions.In recent years,due to the lack of scientific methods and doses for clinical use of antibiotic drugs,drug-resistant strains continue to increase,which greatly increases the difficulty of clinical treatment of endometritis in dairy cows.In order to find out the pathogenesis,main pathogenic bacteria and effective therapeutic drugs of cow endometritis in Baoding city,and explore the effective treatment methods,the experiment was carried out and the conclusion was drawn.This study investigated the incidence of endometritis in 2,199 cows from 14 cattle farms in 6 districts and counties of Baoding city over a period of 25 months,collected detailed information of infected cows,analyzed and sorted out,and found out the relationship between the incidence of endometritis in cows in Baoding City,including month,birth order,fetal loss,dystocia and midwifery.76 typical clinical cases of endometritis were selected from 2,199 cows.The main pathogenic bacteria were isolated,cultured and biochemical identified from the uterine secretions,and the main pathogenic bacteria were determined.In order to screen out effective drugs,the drug susceptibility test was carried out by using paper diffusion method.Then lactobacillus and its metabolites were used as microecological preparations to conduct clinical treatment tests on the tested cattle,and the therapeutic effects were observed and recorded.In addition,the antibiotic drugs with the best effects were selected from the drug sensitivity tests for clinical treatment tests,and the therapeutic effects of the two treatment methods were compared and analyzed.The results showed that the average incidence of endometritis in cows in Baoding was 31.7%.The incidence was high from July to September and low from March to May.The fetal order of 4-7 was the high incidence of endometritis in cows.The incidence of endometritis was significantly higher than that of normal shedding cows.The incidence of endometritis in dystocia and midwifery cows was much higher than that in normal cows.In the isolation and identification test of pathogenic bacteria,the detection rate of pathogenic bacteria in the samples of uterine secretions from cattle with endometritis was 96%.A total of 8 pathogens were detected,staphylococcus,streptococcus,Escherichia coli and Bacillus cerevisiae were the main pathogenic bacteria causing endometritis in cows in Baoding city.The single pathogen infection rate was 18.4%and the mixed pathogen infection rate was 77.6%in 76 infected cattle.All the 8 pathogens detected showed higher sensitivity to the antibacterial drugs norfloxacin,neomycin,cefoxitin,flufenicol and cefotaxime,while the drugs with lower sensitivity were penicillin,tetracycline and cotrimoxazole.The sensitivity of the other 7 antibacterial drugs showed different species.The cure rate and improvement rate of cattle with endometritis treated with microecological preparations were 80%and 93%,and the cure rate and improvement rate of cattle treated with antibiotics were 67%and 87%.It can be seen that the incidence of dairy cow endometritis in Baoding area is related to geographical location,season,parity,afterbirth,dystocia and midwifery,feeding scale and management level,etc.The main pathogenic bacteria causing dairy cow endometritis are Staphylococcus,Streptococcus,Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus,and the mixed infection of multiple pathogenic bacteria is serious.The sensitive antibiotics are norfloxacin,neomycin,florfenicol and cephalosporins,and the clinical treatment effect of microecological agents is the best.
