Research On The Drooping Branches By Leaps In Bonsai And Its Modeling Application

The drooping branches by leaps is a special type of branches in trees bonsai,bonsai with the drooping branches by leaps is a popular new type with strong sensation of dynamic,peculiar shape and certain visual impact.Its research and creation opened up a new road for the development of Chinese bonsai.The modeling characteristics of bonsai with the drooping branches have formed an aesthetic consensus in the bonsai world,but its systematic research is still in the initial stage,many basic theories have been unable to adapt to the development of reality,and lack of guidance for creative practice.For this situation,this thesis had combined the theory and practice,the research focuses on basic theories and creative techniques,there are the following main research results:1.This paper argues that the drooping branches by leaps refer to the special Sinking branches in the bonsai canopy with relatively Coarseness and transitional changes,which are constructed by multi-stage branches(or branch veins)with short straight lines,hard angles in irregular directions,large vertical drop and strong rhythmic.There are essential differences between the falling branches and other special branches,such as a branch that spread out like a hand,a branch that extends horizontally and drooping branches by Straight-line in the bonsai modeling,This paper has been clearly defined by quantitative indexes such as "the height of branch point","the downward angle of branches " and "falling range".2.The premise of the creation of bonsai is the classification of the drooping branches by leaps.this paper propose that there are two types of the drooping branches by leaps: single branch type and multiple branch type(branch group).The single branch type can be divided into standard drooping branches by leaps,spreading branch by parallel after drooping,verticality drooping branches by leaps,obliquely drooping branches by leaps;According to the branch-out position,it can be divided into main branch-type drooping branches by leaps and central main branch-type drooping branches by leaps.According to the form,the multi-branch type of drooping branches by leaps can be divided into three types: verticality drooping branches group by leaps,Obliquely drooping branches group by leaps,spreading branch group by parallel after drooping.According to its relation with the trend of tree,it can be divided into two types: drooping branches in the same direction from the tree vigor and drooping branches in opposite direction from the tree vigor.3.The creation of bonsai with drooping branches by leaps should give full play to the aesthetic features of strength,rhythm and space,and according to the characteristics of tree material focus on grasping the falling branches in bonsai make the finishing point,highlight the main body,rich composition,adjust the tree potential and other functions.4.This paper combines practical exercises and the first time put forward the method of nurture and shape of “curve main branch,twist lateral branch,bend branchlet”,this method can synchronously nurture primary branches,secondary branches and tertiary branches,growth and pruning are carried out simultaneously,thus changed the traditional method of "nurture branches and cut off trunk" in Lingnan and a phenomenon in which the branches veins are completed one node at a time,thus greatly reduces the planting time,which provides some theoretical and technical support for popularization and popularization of bonsai with drooping branches by leaps.This paper will play an active role in deepening the research of bonsai and strengthening the guidance of bonsai creation and promoting the innovation of bonsai industry.
