Brucellosis is a zoonosis,a disease with bacterial Infectious can causes caul inflammation,abortion,infertility and Inflammation of the joints.People who are infected with brucella require prolonged antibiotic treatment.In recent years,Brucellosis in livestocks in xinjiang has been recovering,which is the highest positive rate in Urumqi.In order to fully understand the prevalence of cattle and sheep’s brucellosis and the growth and decline of immune antibodies of S2 vaccine in the area under the jurisdiction of Urumqi County,a total of 41 administrative villages scattering raising-households(10 households / village / year)and 19 large-scale farms in 6 townships(towns)were selected randomly in 2016-2017 to Conduct epidemiological investigations for brucellosis in cattle and sheep;400 sheep were chose from 2 farmers in a township were vaccinated with S2 vaccine to explore the growth and decline of serum antibodies after immunization.A total of 9589 samples were collected from cattle and sheep,and 14 samples of aborted fetuses were collected,and 859 epidemiological surveys were collected in this study.Application of RBPT for primary screening,SAT reexamination,filling in epidemiological questionnaire to conduct epidemiological investigation.The PCR was conducted to detect if the foetal liver and spleen samples were infected with brucellosis.RBPT and SAT test results show that the overall positive rate of Urumqi in 2016-2017 was1.57%,which the cattle positive rate was 1.38% and the sheep positive rate was 1.73%;The cattle positive rate was 1.65% and the sheep positive rate was 2.13% in scattering raising-households;The cattle positive rate of cattle was 0.51% and the sheep positive rate was 1.03% in large-scale farms;The positive rate varies among townships(towns).The results of epidemiological questionnair show that differences between the six townships(towns)and between the free-range households and the scale farms inclouding the sources of Raising animal,whether the purchased livestock are treated with Brucella quarantine,feeding methods and so on.The results of PCR tests showed that 3 in the 14 samples were Type of sheep brucellosis.This study basically ascertained the epidemic situation of brucellosis between cattle and sheep in Urumqi county in the past two years,which can provide reference materials for the comprehensive prevention and treatment of brucellosis in local cattle and sheep.This study combined with the results of the above investigation and referred to the published S2 vaccine in Li Jianling,400 sheep of 2 farmers in a township of Urumqi county were immunized,and 200 sheep were immunized once after 30 days.After fifteenth,thirtieth,sixtieth days and 90 days after the first immunization,the antibody conversion rate was monitored to explore the growth and decline of S2 vaccine in sheep.The results showed that only a single immunization lasted for a short time,and the antibody could still produce 90 days later.It is suggested that Urumqi County adopt immunization based prevention and control strategy,strictly introduce species,strengthen daily feeding management and environmental sanitation disinfection of livestock houses.In the preliminary study of the immune effect of S2 vaccine,400 sheep from two farmers in a township were immunized with brucellosis,and 200 sheep were Enhanced immunity once after 30 days.The positive rate of immune antibody was monitored on days 15,30,60,90 after the first immunization.The results showed that when only one immunization was carried out,the duration of the immune antibody produced by induction was shorter,and strengthen the immune antibody could be produced at 90 days after enhanced immunization.It is suggested that the strategy of prevention and control based on immunization should be adopted in Urumqi County,the strict introduction of the breeding stock,and daily feeding management and environmental disinfection of animal stalls should be strengthened.
