In this experiment,the effects of Chinese herbal medicine argyi on the production performance,egg quality,blood biochemical indicators and the expression levels of related genes of immunity and reproduction of Hyland brown layer hens were studied,with a view to providing theory for the utilization effect of argyi as a feed additive for laying hens and production of functional eggs in accordance with.In the experiment,216 Hyland brown hens of 16-month-old were randomly divided into 4 groups,a control group and 4 treatments,with 3 repetitions per treatment and 18 chickens per replicate.The whole test period was 64 days including 14 days of prefeeding period,and 50 days of test period.The control group was fed the basal diet + 0 % argyi,test group 1(basal diet + 1 % argyi),test group 2(basal diet +2 % argyi)and test group 3(basal diet + 3 % argyi).The experiment first studied the effects of dietary supplement of argyi on the production performance,egg quality,blood biochemical of 16-month-old laying hens.The results showed that the addition of argyi could significantly increase the laying rate of laying hens(P<0.05),and the effect was best when the wormwood leaves were added at a level of 3%;there was no significant effect on egg shell strength,egg shell thickness,and egg shape index in egg quality,But there was significantly increased on protein height at week 3(P<0.05)and Hastelloy units at week 5(P<0.05).Adding argyi had no significant effect on blood biochemical indexes of 16-month-old laying hens(P>0.05).At the end of the above experiment,the control group and 2 % argyi group chickens were selected,and their pituitary,spleen,uterus,ovary,and fallopian tubes were sacrificed,and the expression levels of their immune and reproduction-related genes were obtained.The results showed that the expression levels of CXCR1,IL8L1,IL8L2,and IL10 RB in the spleen were down-regulated compared with the control group after the addition of 2 % Artemisia argyi;the expression level of IL10 RA was up-regulated in the uterus;NFκB1 was down-regulated in the fallopian tube,and there was no difference in the expression levels in other tissues;There is no difference in the expression levels of TNFAIP2 and TRAP2 in various tissues,TNFAIP6 expression levels in the fallopian tubes are down-regulated.Compared with the control group,ESRRB,ESR2,DPH1,CGA,Gn RH1,and Gn RHR had no difference in expression levels in various tissues.ESR1 was up-regulated in the pituitary,uterus,and fallopian tubes;FSHR and PXFP1 were down-regulated in the fallopian tubes,and PXFP1 was in the uterus.Medium expression level is up-regulated;MAPK14,PRKCA,down-regulated expression level in the fallopian tube;LHCGR down-regulated expression level in the fallopian tube,and up-regulated expression level in the uterus;PRLR is increased in the fallopian tube expression level.The above results show that adding 2% of argyi to the diet of laying hens can increase the egg production rate of laying hens,improve their immune function and reproductive performance,and provide theoretical basis and guidance for the production of functional eggs with Chinese herbal medicine. |
