Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,in order to accelerate the green development of the breeding industry, the ministry of agriculture has carried out the reduction action of the use of veterinary antibiotics, and it is important to develop new additives that are beneficial to the production of livestock and poultry, harmless to human body and environmentally friendly."Dr.Wei" is a new type of additive, which is a mixture of inorganic acid, organic acid and natural plant essential oil in a scientific ratio. It is expected to be used as a new additive to replace antibiotics in the future. In this study,we added different doses of “Dr.Wei” to the diet of weaned piglets to study the effects of replacing antibiotics on the performance and intestinal health of weaned piglets. So as to popularize “Dr.Wei” in breeding industry with a data and theory supportion. One hundred and twenty 34-day-old weaning piglets as the experimental animals, with the similar weight, male female 50 points were randomly divided into three groups, each group have four replicates, every replicate have 10piglets: the first group was control group, fed diet containing antibiotics, the second group and third group were test groups, fed a diet contain 0.3% or 0.5% "Dr.Wei" but without antibiotic. The test lasted for 39 days.At the end of the experiment, the piglets were weighed and six slaughter samples randomly selected from each group.Detect the relevant physiological, biochemical and hormone indexes in serum, observed intestinal morphology, and detect the expression levels of tight junction protein and inflammatory factor m RNA in intestinal mucosa. The research results show that:1.Adding 0.3% or 0.5% "Dr.Wei" to the diet without antibiotics has no effect on growth performance of weaned piglets compared to diets containing antibiotics.Ondiarrhea rate, group that fed 0.5% "Dr.Wei" had show a similar performance to that of antibiotics. However, when the amount of“Dr.Wei”added to the diet was reduced to0.3%,the diarrhea rate increased, and the difference was not significant.2.Adding 0.3% or 5% "Dr.Wei" into non-antibiotics diet can significantly promote the development of jejunum and ileum intestine villi, and significantly increase the activity of lactase and maltase in the ileal contents of weaned piglets.3.Adding 0.3% or 0.5% "Dr.Wei" to non-antibiotics diet had no significant effect on the physical barrier and immune barrier function of the intestine.
