Sugarcane is a main sugar crop in China,which is still mainly harvested by hand.The mechanized harvest rate of sugarcane in 2017/2018 crushing season only accounted for 1.42%.At present,the high impurity rate of sugarcane billets and the large loss in the field are the main reasons affecting sugarcane chopper harvester popularization and application.Chopper as a key part of the harvester,its blade has a great influence on the trajectory of the sugarcane billets and the relative position of the sugarcane billets in the impurity removal channel has a great influence on the impurity removal effect.Therefore,choosing this problem to study in the paper has great practical value in improving the operation quality of sugarcane chopper harvester.With reference to the size,installation location and parameters of each functional part of 4GDLS-132 A sugarcane chopper combine harvester,the paper made a test bench that combines conveying,segmenting,removing and transporting parts together,so as to study the throwing movement process of sugarcane billets after it was cut off by the chopper.By means of theoretical analysis and high-speed photographic experiment analysis,the spatial posture of sugarcane billets was studied at the moment when the sugarcane was cut off by blades.The effects of rotation speed and geometric position of chopper on the throwing speed and Trajectory of sugarcane billets were studied.On this basis,a guide channel between the chopper and the extractor fan was designed.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Sugarcane billets with blade movement and detachment conditions.The kinematics model of the sugarcane billets with the blade was established by analyzing the movement process of the sugarcane billets with the cutting blade,which showed that the sliding speed was related to the factors such as the tilt angle ’and rotation speed of the blade.Inaddition,the sectionalized nodes of sugarcane billets and cutting blade and their corresponding sectionalized conditions were obtained.(2)Researched on the throwing trajectory of sugarcane billets and designed the guiding channel.The spatial kinematics model of the throwing process of sugarcane billets was established under the condition of unguided channel and guided channel with the theory of projectile.And the guide channel between the chopper and the extractor fan was designed.(3)The spatial posture of the sugarcane billets at the blade was cut off instantaneously.Through theoretical analysis and high-speed photography test,it was clear that the sugarcane billets became upwarped,maintained the feeding slant or drop three spatial postures at the cutting blade at the moment of cutting,and the number of sugarcane feeding layers had no significant influence on the spatial postures of sugarcane billets.(4)High-speed photography test and analysis of projectile trajectory.Using high speed photography technology test to track the throwing trajectory of billets,which helped to obtain the billets throwing space trajectory and verify that there were different upward throwing trajectories in the process of throwing of billets.And it was also concluded that the best angle of throwing was 34° through comparative analysis of different throwing trajectories under differet throwing angles.The installation of guide channel between the extractor fan and the chopper could limit the trajectory of the sugarcane billets with excessive throwing angle and increase the probability that the sugarcane billets fell into the reasonable negative pressure area of the extractor fan.And it was concluded that a better angle adjustment plate angle was 30° when the throwing angle was 34°.(5)High-speed photography experiment and analysis of the throwing speed.The throwing speed of the sugarcane billets was obtained by tracking and analyzing with high speed photography technology.The two-factor test results of the chopper rotation speed and throwing angle showed that the rotation speed of the chopper had a significant effect on the throwing speed,and the throwing speed increased with the increase of the rotation speed of the chopper,and also showed a strong linear correlation,but the throwing angle had no significant effect on the throwing speed.The regression analysis results showed that thecorrelation coefficient between blade linear speed and throwing speed was 0.999,which further verified that the sliding speed of sugarcane billets along the blade could be neglected in the process of sugarcane billets following the blade.The results of the research in the paper provided a basis for determining the relative position relationship between the chopper and the extractor fan.
