Study On The Psychological Carrying Capacity Of Tourists In Forest Scenic Spots

With the advent of the experience economy era,tourism demand is becoming more and more prosperous.Especially as the primary form and an important part of eco-tourism,forest tourism develops rapidly.However,behind the growing demand for tourism in forest tourism areas,serious problems have also been exposed-overloaded tourism environment.It not only caused problems in the scenic area such as the decline in the attractiveness of resources,degradation of the ecological environment,reduction of biodiversity,road congestion due to traffic jams and intensification of community conflicts,but also directly reduced tourists’ psychological carrying capacity due to crowding and use conflicts,further affecting the tourist experience quality of tourists and the sustainable development of forest tourism areas.Therefore,it is particularly important to manage the carrying capacity of forest scenic spots and limit them to a reasonable range to solve the overload problem.Tourism environmental carrying capacity as an effective solution to the problem of overloading tourism,in which,the tourist’s psychological carrying capacity is the only one branch concept from the perspective of tourists.It is mainly from the perspective of tourists as the main body of tourism to study the problem of tourism congestion.Not only can play a role in scientific management of tourist capacity,on this basis,but also improve the quality of travel experience for tourists.However,in the current research on the tourist’s psychological carrying capacity,satisfaction and preference number of people met as the evaluation index leads to strong subjectivity,and crowding perception as the evaluation index helps to improve the accuracy of research by quantifying qualitative research.Therefore,this paper selects crowding perception as the evaluation index,and further measures tourist’s psychological carrying capacity on the basis of exploring the influencing factors of crowding perception in forest scenic spots,and selects Shanxi Wujinshan National Forest Park as an empirical research case.Based on the summarization of the research progress on tourism carrying capacity,tourists’ psychological carrying capacity and crowding perception,this article combines the definition of relevant concepts and the elaboration of theoretical foundations,analyzes the factors influencing tourist crowding perception in forest scenic spots,and builds a conceptual model of the psychological carrying capacity of tourists.Then,taking the Wujinshan National Forest Park in Shanxi Province as a case study,this study explores the factors affecting the tourist crowding perception from the four dimensions of tourist’s socio-economic background,recreational characteristics,other people characteristics,and scenic spot characteristics.The two methods of constructing the regression equations of crowding perception and measuring crowding norms are used to measure and verify the magnitude of tourists’ psychological carrying capacity,so as to realize quantitative analysis of qualitative research.The research results show that:①the tourist crowding perception in Wujinshan National Forest Park will be affected by various factors such as personal education,travel experience,tourist density,bad behavior of others,scenic environment and so on;②the maximum psychological capacity of tourists in Wujinshan National Forest Park is 565 tourists and 22 groups respectively.Based on the empirical research results,the study provides practical management suggestions for the Wujinshan National Forest Park from the perspective of tourists and scenic spots.Through the above-mentioned empirical analysis,this paper verifies the feasibility of the theoretical model of the influencing factor and the scientificity of its calculation method of tourist crowding perception in forest scenic spots.However,due to the limitations of subjective and objective factors,the research inevitably has shortcomings,it will befurther refinement in subsequent studies.
