Effects Of Recreational Impact On The Soil And Vegetation In Wudang Mountain And Recreation Carrying Capacity Of It

Interest of internal and exteral sholars in resarch concerning enviromental impact of outoloor recreation and recreation carrying capacity in the national parks is stimulated by extensive launchment of outdoor irecreation and denands by sustainable development. Wudang Moutain is a national park. Moreover, It is a cultural heritage of world.So it is worth while studying the utility intensity of its landscape resource..Firstly, based on the investigation and the questionaire survey, the regularity of spatial and temporal distribution and the behavioural characteristics of recreationists in it are obtained. The spatial and temporal distribution are extrmely concentrated. The type of outdoor recreation is simple.Secondly, because spatial heterogeneity is one of important properties in soil and vegetation and the difference is obvious among altitudes of main scenic spots, the control plots are given respectively according to recreational impact plots of six main scenic spots. The physical and chemical properties, the populations of plants ,the covering degree of vegetation are investigated. At the same time, the recreational impact strength is determinated by the annual recreationist amounts multiplication of different coefficients.The effects of recreational impact on the soil and vegetation including the quantitative relationship among the variation degree of soil and vegetation and the recreational impact strength, are studied deeply.The results of qualitative and quantitative analysis are as follow.(1) There are 73 famiyies, 143 genus, 193 species in all plotsThe diversity(H and D1) of bush layer is highest.(2)Because of the outdoor recreation, the bulk density of soil increases. And the soil moisture, soil porosity, the percentage of soil organic material, the pH-value descend. At the same time,the divisity of vegetation of impact plots is smaller than that of control plots .However, langmei Temple is converse.(3)The effects of recreational impact on bush layer are more obvious than on tree layer and grass layer.(4)There is a close relationships among the variation degree of soil and vegetation and the recreational impact strength.Finally, the recreation carrying capacity of main scenic spots are calculated .The recreationist amounts from 2001 to 2010 is predicted. The results that the utility intensity of recreation carrying capacity are assessed indicated:The phenomenon of overloading is not very prominant at the moment .The new scenic spots should be constructed at once and the present scenic spots should be utilized harmoniously.
