Empoasca(Matsumurasca)onukii is the dominant pest of tea plant in China since the 1950 s.Shaanxi tea region has long history for tea tree planting and tea production has become rather important currently.However,the damage caused by Empoasca(M.)onukii is serious and its occurance and control methods need further study.This thesis deals with the population dynamic of Empoasca(M.)onukii on three kinds of tea varieties in Shaanxi tea region,shade effect on Empoasca(M.)onukii and its natural enemy the spider,the resistence of four varieties(Wuniu zao tea,longjing tea leaves,longjing 43,pingyang premature tea)against Empoasca(M.)onukii.Effect of three foliar fertilizer for controling Empoasca(M.)onukii.In addition,field efficacy of the two botanical pesticides mixture and its optimum proportion have also been explored.The results are as follows:1.Population demography of adult and nymph of Empoasca(M.)onukii are both bimodal pattern in Shaanxi tea area,the first occurrence in peak period of Empoasca(M.)onukii arose from 6 june to 18 August,the second peak occurred from 22 September to the 17 October.The dominant pest almost can not be found when daily mean temperature and sunshine hour and rainfall reached the 32.2 ℃,5.9 h and 1.2 mm.2.The population demography of Empoasca(M.)onukii is fluctuating in normal situation and easily has a large-scale outbreak.The number of the pest is relatively steady when tea garden is surrounded by other plants.The population density of spider in the tea garden which is surrounded by other plants is higher than the tea garden is not surrounded,but have not significant diference.3.Tea variety wuniuzao has the larggest population density of Empoasca(M.)onukii,and the variety longjingchangye has the least,tea varieties liongjing 43 and pingyagtezao lies between the wuniuzao tea and longjingchangye.The insect resistance of four kinds of tea varieties from high to low is longjingchangye > pingyangtezao > longjing43 >wuniuzao.4.Chlorophyll 20.0%,10.0%,4.1% have no significant effect for controlling the population of Empoasca(M.)onuki,but obviously lower than CK.Combined with costs and economic benefits that chlorophyll 0.41% is recommended to be used in Shaanxi tea region to raise the production and improve quality of tea,at the same time,reduce the harm caused by the major pest.5.The mixture of 0.3% matreine SL 1000(multiple)and 0.3% Azadirachtin EC1500(multiple)has readily availability and effectiveness against the Empoasca(M.)onukii in the field. |
