Artistic Expression Of Local Materials In The Context Of Local Architecture

Urban and rural construction is an important symbol of the development of an era,and architecture is an important carrier of regional cultural expression.Nowadays,China has made great achievements in the construction of cities and towns,but some problems also follow.In the tide of globalization,architecture has become more and more uniform,and cities have become more and more one-sided.In economically backward areas,the design and construction level is extensive.These similarities between architecture and culture gradually erase the local characteristics,making the diversity of regional history and culture gradually submerged in the convergent globalization.Therefore,the localization of local construction is becoming more and more important.It is the responsibility of contemporary architecture to find the locality of architecture and find the unique context and historical memory of different regions.Materials are the basis for the materialization of buildings.For local buildings,local materials are an unavoidable research topic.Before the industrial age,local materials built the most direct connection between architecture and nature in the way of local materials and local conditions.The application of local materials in the region is often the result of the game between a region and nature in the long historical development and evolution,its own long construction history,unique humanistic factors,unique color,sense of reality and skin texture can best reflect the regional existence of architecture.This paper collects a large number of contemporary local architectural practice cases,discusses them from two aspects: the expression of design view and construction view of local materials in local architecture,and classifies,analyzes and expounds them in the way of typology.In the research process,local materials will be discussed in the category of architecture.Combined with theories and examples,the relevant elements of local materials in design expression and construction presentation will be obtained,so as to build a theoretical framework for the artistic expression of local materials in the context of local architecture.The paper carries out the research through the way of "raising problems,analyzing problems,solving problems and practical application" : the first chapter "raising problems" based on the analysis of the current social situation,shows the significance of local material research to local architecture and its artistic expression,and makes it clear that the research of the paper discusses the feasibility and necessity of local architectural artistic expression from the perspective of local materials;The second chapter is "analysis of problems",which analyzes the relevant connotation and principles of local architecture and local materials,and combs and summarizes the types and characteristics of local materials in local architecture;The third and fourth chapters are "solving problems",summarizing the artistic expression of local materials in local architecture;The fifth chapter "practical application" applies the research results to practice,carries out localized architectural design,and applies the artistic expression strategy of local materials to local design as a supplement to the research.Finally,the conclusion of the paper summarizes the theory and results of the research,and looks forward to the follow-up research.
