With the development of economic society and increasing awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection,green buildings have become an important measure for the industry to adapt to the development of the times and transform and upgrade.Prefabricated buildings such as steel structures are used as important carriers and hands to promote green building methods.In order to adapt to the development level of the industry,it is necessary to implement corresponding management concepts.The traditional project management concept focuses on the management of the three major goals of cost,schedule,and quality.It does not pay enough attention to the emerging modern management concept of communication management.Project communication management is one of the nine knowledge fields in the modern project management system,having a very important role in project management.Engineering project management needs to communicate with multiple departments and different personnel,and the communication management level directly affects the effectiveness of the management work.Company G is a construction company.It has been in a leading position in the industry for many years.In order to cater to the needs of high-quality development of the industry and expand business areas,it should especially strengthen the basic management work such as project communication management.The thesis research strictly follows the thinking framework of discovering,analyzing,and solving problems,and uses literature method,questionnaire survey method and theory-to-practice method to investigate and analyze the communication status of A project communication management.The main theories include project communication management principles,general communication models and team communication models.Through questionnaire statistics,the main problems of the current project are found: insufficient understanding of the project and departmental goals;unsatisfactory communication atmosphere;low efficiency of formal meetings;untimely information feedback;uncoordinated team communication.Through fishbone diagram analysis,the main reasons for the problem were found: lack of strategic goals for communication management;the communication channel is not systematic;the lack of a standardized meeting system;the lack of an effective communication feedback monitoring mechanism;insufficient communication awareness among team members.Propose solutions to the problems and their causes:establish strategic goals for communication management;improve project communication channels;establish meeting management systems;build communication feedback and supervision mechanisms;improve the communication awareness and skills of project team members.At the same time,based on the team communication model,four safeguard measures for goals,methods,capabilities,and collaboration are proposed.After studying the status quo of communication management of A engineering project,this paper proposes targeted solutions that will help G company establish a communication management system,improve project communication efficiency,and promote the overall project management level.At the same time,it also provides a certain reference value for companies in the same industry and related industries to improve the status quo of communication management.
