There are many soft soil foundations in Wuhu area,most of which are marine muddy soft soil,which has the characteristics of high water content,poor permeability and low compressive and shear strength,which is unfavorable for the construction in Wuhu area,in order to facilitate the construction on the soft soil foundation in Wuhu area,it is necessary to solidify the soft soil foundation.It is one of the most common methods of soft soil consolidation to treat soft soil foundation by soft soil consolidation technology.For a long time,cement is the main solidifying agent used in soft soil solidification,But the economic benefit of cement reinforcing soft soil is low,which causes pollution to the environment.Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag(GGBS)is a kind of industrial waste Slag which consists mainly of silicate and aluminosilicate produced in Blast furnace smelting pig iron.It is also a raw material for cement production,using GGBS instead of cement as a soft soil curing agent can not only reduce pollution emissions,but also take into account the economy,in line with China’s concept of promoting green production.In this paper,granulated blast furnace slag,which has similar hydration activity to cement,is selected as the main curing agent to solidify Binhu District mucky clay in Wuhu area,magnesium Oxide and sodium silicate are used as activators to solidify Wuhu’s muddy clay.The main research contents and results of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the characteristics of the mucky clay in Wuhu,GGBS is selected as the main curing agent and Mg O and Na2Si O3are used as the excitant to prepare a composite curing agent named GM04 to solidify the mucky clay in Wuhu.The results of single blending test show that the content of each curing material is 10%~14%,1%~2%and 4%~6%respectively.(2)Based on the CCD experimental design method and Design-Expert experimental design software,the optimization of the curing agent formulation of GM04 composite curing agent for silty clay in Wuhu was researched.Through the analysis of variance,the strength model of the composite curing agent GM04 for the Mucky Clay in Wuhu area was obtained,and the fitting degree of the experimental model and the interaction analysis were carried out,finally,the optimum ratio of the composite curing agent GM04 is determined as follows:The amount of GGBS is 12.27%,Mg O is 1.57%and Na2Si O3is 6.27%.(3)Through the unconfined compressive strength test,the effects of soil moisture content,curing age and organic matter content on the strength of GM04 solidified soil were studied,the unconfined compressive strength of GM04 solidified soil and cement-solidified soil increased in 28 days,and the unconfined compressive strength of both solidified soil and cement-solidified soil decreased in 28 days when the moisture content was between43%and 68%,the strength loss rate of cement-stabilized soil is always higher than that of GM04-stabilized soil at the same moisture content,which indicates that the strength of cement-stabilized soil is more affected by moisture content the content of organic matter also has a great influence on the strength of GM04 solidified soil.The mixing ratio of organic matter decreases rapidly in the range of 2.8%-6.8%,but the strength of solidified soil decreases slowly when the content of organic matter exceeds the range,to a steady state.(4)At the age of 7d,14d and 28d,the strength of GM04 solidified soil and cement solidified soil with 9%,12%and 15%content were compared and analyzed,and it turns out,at the age of 7d and14d,the difference of strength between GM04 and 15%cement-stabilized soil is 4.56%and 2.20%,respectively.The difference between GM04and 9%cement-stabilized soil is 105.36%and 89.29%,respectively.The strength of GM04solidified soil and cement solidified soil is similar to that of 28 days after 14 days of curing,but the strength of GM04 solidified soil increases slowly after 14 days of curing.The stress-strain curve of GM04 solidified soil is similar to that of 15%cement-stabilized soil,but the peak stress of GM04 solidified soil is larger than that of cement-stabilized soil,and the strain is smaller when the peak stress is reached,and the slope of stress decline after failure is larger and faster.(5)Through water stability test,The change of unconfined compressive strength of GM04 stabilized soil and cement stabilized soil with optimum ratio after complete immersion test was analyzed,and the water stability of GM04 stabilized soil is compared with that of cement stabilized soil.The results show that GM04 solidified soil and cement solidified soil can improve the water stability,and the Water Stability Coefficient of GM04solidified soil is higher than that of the three kinds of cement solidified soil at the same age,with the increase of age,the Water Stability Coefficient of the four kinds of solidified soils increased.The influence of soaking on
