Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous development of cooperative vehicle infrastructure system,platoon plays an important role in improving road traffic safety,efficiency,energy saving and emission reduction,etc.Therefore,platoon has become a hot topic in modern transportation research.It can reduce the follow-up distance,improve traffic capacity and reduce traffic congestion.In addition,it also reduces the following vehicle drag coefficient,reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions,especially for the trucks with high fuel consumption and large displacement,it is very important to conduct platoon research.However,in the truck platoon process,whether the trucks or platoon are suitable for platoon and the chasing behavior during platoon have not been extensively studied.The freeway has the advantages of less interference,driving direction,complete traffic facilities management,so the freeway becomes an important scene to study truck platoon.Therefore,with the support of cooperative vehicle infrastructure system,this paper studies the space range of freeway truck suitable for platoon,and studies the impact of traffic flow on the platoon behavior of freeway truck.The specific work is as follows:1)Explain the background and significance of freeway truck Platoon,summarizes the domestic and foreign research on cooperative vehicle infrastructure system,platoon strategy and traffic flow theory,summarizes the research points and advantages and disadvantages,summarizes the research content of this paper,and determines the research route.2)In this paper,SUMO is used to set up the scene of the vehicle catching up with the truck/platoon in front,and the truck lane change overtaking decision is studied.And build a length of 5 km of one-way file three lanes as path,use route、vehicle type and the number of traffic flow as requirements files.Python is used to control the truck overtaking and lane changing,input the number of traffic flow,and output truck speed,fuel consumption and simulation time,and simulate the behavior of the truck catching up with the truck/platoon in front under the different number of traffic flows.The scene is visualized through SUMO-GUI.The lane-changing process is divided into two stages in this paper:in the first stage,the truck changes lane from the right to the left,the lane-changing condition is that the follow-up distance between the test truck and the front vehicle is 3s;the second stage is for the truck to change to the original lane,it is different from the left-to-right lane change condition,that is when the safe time distance in front of the exceeded vehicle is 6.3s and there is no obstacle vehicle,the test truck can change back to the original lane,when the time distance between truck and the workshop of the exceeded truck is 3s.3)Processing experimental data for the catch-up process,and the average speed and square mean speed of the catch-up are modeled.The analysis shows that the variation trend of the average chasing speed satisfies the traffic volume-speed variation trend in the Greeshields traffic flow model.Therefore,this paper established the number of the traffic flow-average-truck speed of chasing process model(average truck speed of chasing process model),and based on the theory of multiple linear regr ess ion,established the number of the traffic flow-square-average truck speed of chasing process model(square average truck speed of chasing process model),and carried out a statistical test to verify the validity of the model.4)Establishment of a platooning space domain model for freeway trucks based on generalized cost function.Through establish the generalized cost function of truck driving alone to the destination,the generalized cost function of truck chasing process and the generalized cost function of truck platoon.In order to make the generalized cost of truck driving alone to the destination greater than the total generalized cost of truck chasing process and truck platoon driving,and to minimize the total generalized cost of truck chasing and platooning,the platoon space domain model was established,and the model was analyzed,and an application case was given.Then analyze the model,and give cases combined with actual application.5)Propose the truck platoon incentive factor is and analyzed in detail.According to the analysis,when the spacing distance(9((9) and the distance from truck to the destination(9are constant,the truck platoon incentive factor k decreases with the increase of the number of the traffic flow.When the number of the traffic flow Q and the destination distance(9are constant,the truck platoon incentive factor k decreases as the distance of truck and others is increases.
